so first off, i feel sorry for everyone who got completely botched from this “practice” including myself. i swear all the good reviews are just people who get cleanings & nothing extensive done. If you value your teeth and your mental health, DO NOT COME HERE. I haven’t had dental anxiety since I was a child, but this practice has brought it back tenfold. I was looking for a new office as mine stopped taking my insurance. i thought this place would be a good fit for me as it’s local. But this was easily the most nightmarish experience i’ve ever had with a dentist in my whole life. I had a tooth with a large filling (that never caused me any problems), and they told me I needed to get a crown to prevent future issues. Well, since getting the crown, I’ve had nothing but issues—extreme sensitivity, occasional throbbing nerve pain in my face, and I can’t chew hard foods. Even breathing cold air outside is painful. This office even told me i needed to redo some of my fillings— which only lasted a week before they felt weird. If this dentist—no matter who—tells you that you need work done, PLEASE get a second opinion. If not, you might end up like me, anxiety ridden & miserable. While I was getting my temporary crown, the assistant (who was very nice but clearly inexperienced) had the projector on in the room and was scrolling through patient profiles that were obviously not mine. I looked down at my phone for the privacy of others, but regardless, that was complete violation of HIPPA. To make matters worse, my temporary crown was so sensitive that I couldn’t chew any food or eat anything hot or cold on that side. When I told the dentist about this, he seemed confused and didn’t offer much explanation. I thought things would improve after my permanent crown, but they actually got worse. I called the day after my appointment, already dealing with major anxiety, and the receptionist told me they “only had a 12 PM appointment available.” I just had a crown done yesterday, I’m in pain, and I’m the one who should feel lucky that you have a singular appointment available? PLEASE. When I went back, the dentist was understanding of my concerns but seemed confused how things could be worse. he adjusted my retainer because it no longer fit me, but that’s not enough to make up for the damage this has caused me. And on top of all of this crap he told me i may need a root canal. (Which my new dentist confirmed) My filling before was perfectly fine & now they created many, many issues for me. I wouldn’t come back even if this was the last dental office on earth. This place is like a medieval torture chamber. the only positive experiences i had was with the hygienist, Vanessa (she was very sweet) & some of the assistants. I’ve tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but all I got in return was a butchered tooth and dental anxiety through the roof. Getting my IUD was a far more pleasant experience than this. Thankfully, I never have to come back here. This place only cares about $$$ instead of the health or wellbeing of their patients.
Dec 03, 2024 · Saja1165 sajaI have been a patient for at least 10 years. I have referred my family and friends because i was so comfortable with the staff.. That all changed today. I recently switched from delta dental to united health insurance. Because UH is such a hassel to deal with, the office manager literally told me " they avoid dealing with UH at all costs due to payment issues". I had a procedure scheduled and was told to pay the full amount or wait 6 weeks for an approval. They were not willing to contact UH themselves to see what they would cover. Basicly they would rather loose a long time patient than do their job. This is so disappointing and another example of a doctor more concerned about the money than his patients.
Dec 04, 2024 · Deb NardolilloI've been a patient of Eric George & Associates for several years now and have had nothing but positive experiences. Everyone there is always so kind, caring and compassionate to any needs you may have. They're one of the very few places where I can actually truly feel they really do love and care about their patients. Dr. George himself was nothing but gentle and comforting when I was experiencing anxiety before my wisdom tooth extraction 6 years ago, taking his time to explain everything and what to expect in great detail, while my primary dentist Dr. Shehadeh always makes sure to do whatever he can to make me feel relaxed and safe. He even let my mom stay in the room while he injected the novocaine. If you're looking for a high-quality dental practice with compassionate, experinced dentists with impressive credentials who want nothing more than to make their patients' experiences as comfortable and positive as possible--because let's face it, I don't think going to the dentist is really a lot of people's favorite thing--I couldn't recommend more!
