Dr. Penesis and his assistant (Edith?) are a great team. I went for throbbing pain in a tooth near the back of my mouth, but Dr. Penesis took the time to rule out other possibilities, as he initially couldn't replicate the pain in the tooth I thought was the problem. I wound up getting referred pain in the back of my mouth from a tooth in the front of the mouth. This was my second root canal with Dr. Penesis, the first being in 2015. Both times, I experienced zero discomfort during the procedure. The numbing shots are a little uncomfortable, but all the drilling and digging just sounds like it should be painful, but you don't feel a thing. I will say the initial appointment is uncomfortable, as he has to replicate the pain and make sure he goes after the right tooth, but I'm glad he was thorough and made sure to find the problem. He found a couple other sensitive teeth while he was trying to identify the problem tooth and said I almost certainly need root canals on those in the future, but he has no interest in selling you on something that isn't causing you discomfort now. He is quick and efficient, you can tell he runs a tight ship, but he always explains what he's doing and has no problem taking the time to answer questions. He is not the least bit dismissive. It's never fun to go through a process like this, but I don't think I would ever trust another doctor to handle this procedure as painlessly as possible. He and his team are VERY good at what they do!

Wonderful experience getting a root canal. I've had two there and Dr. Penesis couldn't have been more personable or professional. Nothing more than a regular filling - just a little more time required. Highly recommended. Nothing to be afraid of.

Office staff should be locked in jail for flat lying to a patient. Costing me 575 ish more I have to pay. more don’t ever trust these people they are really bad. They are very unprofessional and untrustworthy for sure.

Came in for what I thought was a "potential" root canal referral. Turned out, a root canal was needed. Neither prepared nor overly excited about this, the staff and Dr. Penesis were calm, assuring, informative, and actually AWESOME!! Got the procedure done and was out the door in about an hour. Staff, Dr., and the office were inviting, clean, and calming. Had all of the best in innovative dental equipment also, which made the procedure that much quieter, easier, and honestly - painless. Thank you for being GREAT!

Dr Vince Penesis was great! I had such bad anxiety and he gave me some oral meds and they didn’t knock me out but I was relaxed. I didn’t feel a thing! Him and his staff are all great. 20 stars if I could
