Oct 14, 2024 · JOY SANSBURYMy son had an emergency root canal recently with Dr. Ana Kim. She repeatedly told us it was an urgent issue and something that needed to be addressed immediately. They provided one quote and then added another $500 after the procedure was over. I was assured that my dental insurance was accepted, however, I still had to pay upfront. They now tell me that my insurance is not accepted by their office. Dr. Kim stated that she would provide a report with x-rays and details of the procedure. I called the office and emailed and still have not received the report 3 days later. Dr. Kim and her office took advantage of a child who was in pain and then asked him to post a positive review shortly afterwards. He is a minor! He was in pain! His shoddy temporary filling also fell out the same day. I hope parents of minors are not dismissed and ignored as we were post-payment and post-op.
