My first appointment left me feeling very skeptical I felt like the hygienist and the dentist were playing tag team with me it seemed very manipulative trying to sell me on products that I may or may not need so I decided to get a second opinion and when I requested that they forward my x-rays to the second opinion dentist the charge for forwarding was a ridiculous amount usually this is a courtesy when I left a message that I would pick them up myself I did not get a confirmation nothing I decided to go to their office and the door was locked and no note out to lunch no explanation even during business hours. Also when calling their office there is no one answering the phone you are forwarded straight to voicemail which I feel is very unprofessional. Needless to say I am not happy with my experience.

Here are some things about my experience that I did not like.1. When I called to make my first appointment, I informed them that I found their office through Delta Dental and asked them if they take Delta Dental. They told me yes, but failed to inform me that they are out-of-network. I feel like this speaks to a lack of transparency. I would have preferred if they explained to me which one of their dentists is in-network, explained which one of their hygenists would be performing the cleaning for the in-network dentist, and only booked appointments for me with the in-network dentist.2. I went in for 2 cleanings, and both times they upsold me. They recommended multiple fillings, a deep cleaning, Invisalign, and a gum treatment. I felt pressured to accept these treatments. I did not come in asking for these treatments, and I ended up spending more money out of pocket than I wanted to. I don’t think dentists should be using their reputation as licensed professionals to upsell patients.3. For my Invisalign, they scheduled multiple appointments that I felt were unnecessary because they would look at my teeth or a minute, say they looked fine, then hand me the next set of Invisalign. I would have preferred if they gave me all sets of Invisalign up front, then given me the option to schedule an appointment if I wanted to. I did not like how during my last Invisalign appointment, they told me that I would need to order a retainer that would take weeks to arrive and did not remove the nubs they placed on my teeth. I ended up finding another dental office to remove the nubs, and bought the retainer at a lower price.4. Because they are out of network, it felt misleading how they would quote me on one price, ask me to pay up-front for the copayment, bill my insurance a very high price for the service, ask me to send them the checks that came in the mail, then lower the amount they billed the insurance to whatever numbers were on the checks. For the sake of transparency, I think they should bill each insurance company a standard rate for each procedure. Or all of their dentists should be in-network so that they are held to the same standard. It felt like they were trying to milk me and the insurance company for money.

Where do I start?! Today was my first time visiting Encino Dental Group and, I couldn't be happier that I made the drive over from Century City. Dr.Fard and staff are absolutely amazing! Super professional, honest, easy to work with, and I even got a follow up text checking in on me after closing hours. Super sweet attention to detail. These guys go up and beyond where other fail.I've tried others in my area only to be left with disappointment. I can now see why they have so many 5 star reviews. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.I'm looking forward to a long-lasting relationship with them while getting my dental issues squared away.David Ortiz

I had a very great experience here. They help me in ways that I couldn’t imagine. I’m very thankful for the dentist and all the assistance they have there I would highly recommend this place to anybody else in need of dental work They are very gentle and their work is completely professional I am so happy with the outcome that I have had and the results that they gave me, they help me put a new lease on life and a brand new smile on my face thank you Encino Aesthetic dental group.

I had a really great experience here in EADG.All i can say is Dr. Mastour and all the staff here are very friendly and welcoming.They really gonna explain everything to you before and after they do something.All the procedures Dr. Mastour did to me went very smoothly and i don’t get any problem plus they really cares about the patients needs that’s whyI will definitely recommend going here to anyone who needs a dental service because they will surely provide you the best results after.
