This place was promising until I sat in the chair. It was I and another patient in the next chair the Dr was seeing. We both had gotten numb at the same time since I was first appointment they worked on me first. BUT THEN the Dr and assistant left mid extraction and helped the other patient with his full treatment (extraction and bone density). Yup, the Dr said 'oh it's starting to get loose.' The Assistant put gauze in my mouth then they left me for the other patients whole service. Couple mins later, I began to feel pain and my gauze is filled with saliva and blood. I've been left mid extraction for 10+ mins tears rolling down my cheeks and they have not noticed. I try to get their attention but they are not looking even when I make grunting noises due to the pain. Since the Dr and assistant wasn't paying any mind to me, I had to text my bf who was in the waiting room to ask the front desk to tell the Dr that I'm in pain. The front desk lady did, she came to me and said 'They'll get to you when they find a break with the other patient.' LIKE WHAT? I finally got the assistant's attention couple mins after the front desk lady, but the assistant said the same thing, 'when we find a break we'll numb you' while I'm here in pain. I didn't pay hundreds of dollars to be left mid service and to be given this type of treatment especially in an emergency situation. All they kept saying is that they're coming. This was the WORST extraction I have ever ever experienced. What Dr leaves a patient mid extraction whilst the tooth is already pulled out of the crevice yet hanging and not fully removed. 20+mins later in pain and AFTER they had completed the other patient's WHOLE extraction and bone density treatment is when Dr comes back to me as I was wiping away tears. I was still very kind and patient even though I wanted to just leave and cry. But how could I when she had already 'halfway-ish' pulled the tooth out but not completely. Overall, very stressful experience. I feel like my blood pressure raised due to this appointment.. The area is very sore due to all the tugging, pushing and pulling. More sore than when I had a tooth extracted on the opposite side couple months before. I have never had a bad service like this before with any dentist I've had in the past. I thought it would be better than Dr Foto but oh goodness was I wrong. The staff and Dr are so sweet too! They are very patient and hilarious. They have amazing personalities and the Dr made me feel so safe in the beginning. I had asked for her advice on what to do with my problem. I trusted her. That's what sucks, I love them but how my treatment went was just horrible and traumatizing.... The office is clean and plenty of parking. Clean restroom too. I thought it was gonna cost me an arm and a leg to get this procedure done but it was not that expensive especially for how fast they were able to get me in and out of the seat. I actually had an appointment that I was insured for which would have come at no cost for me. But I was in so much pain unbearable, amount of pain. Almost career ending Because I could not get sleep for 2 days strait and many other days prior. They were the only place open after 5pm and I can guarantee they’re the only place in Tacoma that can extract your tooth between 5pm to 9pm I only paid around $500 for a tooth extraction. And it was absolute worth every single dollar. They also offer payment plans. 10/10 I felt no pain through my procedure I didn’t even knew it was out yet it was so painless. please if your in pain don’t over think it and go here

I came here because I had a failed root canal with temporary crown that I was afraid needed to be cut out. I was referred to Emergency Dental Care as a place that did excellent work with no fuss. Everyone from the receptionist to the dental assistant and dentist was extremely nice and calming, and my anxiety went down to almost nothing. The dentist (who is a very pleasant woman) put the numbing shots in with extraordinary skill and I felt absolutely nothing. She also did a couple more extractions from other people while I was waiting to grow numb, I am not exaggerating when I say it literally took her a minute to do the people in the next room. Then she got out my broken and falling to pieces tooth without needing to cut me open. I was super impressed and very grateful Some things to know: The office is a little hole in the wall in a business park. However, it is extremely clean and well maintained. It is cash upfront if you don't have insurance, and they are very up front with what insurances they take and that they are out of network for most insurances even if they do take it, so ask if it's important to you. They don't take public insurance. Just assume it's going to be out of pocket. And since you are paying both sides of the insurance it's going to be pricey. They will tell you pricing They aren't coy. They understand they are a dentist of last resort, so they are non judgmental about the shape of your teeth. They are also very pragmatic and listen to what you want. However, if you want a boutique or touchy feely experience this is not the place. They do good work fast with no BS and have streamlined everything to get you in and out. It took me about half an hour from start to finish. I liked the online scheduling, online forms and phone reminders. I also liked that they sent in prescriptions for antibiotic mouth wash, antibiotics, and pain killers. They are very thorough. I highly recommend this clinic. If you have a need and are in pain, this is the place to go. Clean, polite and efficient.

Highly Recommend! Very clean, and well kept. The front desk manager, helped us step by step, from insurance to checkout. She is extremely sweet, helpful and knowledgeable. . Co - Pay is required, although they accept most insurances, they also have really great options for monthly payments. . This is an amazing option for a toothache or having a tooth pulled. . I was in need of some relief for a toothache that snuck up on me overnight. I contacted the office at 6am and The staff communicated and replied to me very well and very fast. Everyone was very nice from the front desk to the dental assistant and the dentist. I was in and out in 30 minutes.
