I had a great experience at Eastridge Family Dental. Dr. Waugh (dentist) and Ms Sheena (dental hygienist) both had great bedside manner. They educated me about what they were doing and what they were seeing. They took time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. They informed me of how I can be proactive in caring for my dental health and were judicious in their recommendations (meaning…I didn’t feel like they were trying to sell me a bunch of stuff that I didn’t really need). They supported their recommendations with photos from my mouth taken at that visit showing what they were seeing, and they explained it all to me. Sheena did an exceptional job cleaning my coffee-stained teeth. She was very thorough. My teeth were noticeably different after she worked on them. This was my first time getting to be in her chair, and I hope I get to be with her every time because she had my teeth looking like a million bucks at the end of the appointment. I didn’t know my teeth could look so good. The front desk employees were very helpful and friendly too. This is a lovely dentist office in downtown Lee’s Summit. I live in the neighborhood, have been a patient here for many years, and recommend this practice. Thank you!

The experience was good but not the price l was unaware of the price I asked and was told it was covered by insurance to only find out it was 140.00 to clean half my teeth. That is a little high should be told up front not after. The staff is very nice.

This business has changed dentists twice. The second time, no notification was given to any patients and you didn’t know it until you showed up for your dental appointment. This Is not good business practice if you ask me. All the staff has turned over as well (except for the office manager receptionist). Everybody else is new. Again, no one told us anything. I was told they didn’t tell anybody because they would lose patients who would go somewhere else… well, that happened anyway, didn’t it?

I had a fantastic experience at East Ridge Family Dental. The office staff is kind and welcoming. The dentist was knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend getting all your dental needs here!

Love the staff at Eastridge Family Dental! Dr. Waugh is very thorough, kind, and honest. I really appreciated the time he took to diagnose and explain everything I needed.
