First visit with them and oh my goodness LOVE them. We switched from another pediatric dentist (?) that didn’t do us right and then in comparison? Hands down this place is FAR better than them (?). This place, they were so incredibly kind, non judgmental, allowed you to speak your mind and they listened and understood, they make you feel welcomed and even happy you’re there. They had Trolls playing on the tv for my son to watch during the cleaning with sunglasses on. Toys to play with for my daughter while she waited. (They have a sega genesis console to play on the waiting room and a toy train). My only cons were this and very small: I couldn’t see any hand sanitizer out. There were some bottles that could’ve been sanitizer and maybe the label was too small for me to see. We had our own so I didn’t look too hard to see what the label said so if you worry about that, bring your own just in case. They’re pretty new so keep this in mind but the wall to separate our room from the other one is with a curtain. There’s privacy but it can be a little loud and hard to hear the dentist sometimes. I wouldn’t be surprised if eventually there were walls built but even if there weren’t, I’d still go back. The curtains actually make it pretty homey. :) you can see someone in the room next to you sitting down but you can’t see their kiddo. So yeah I HIGHLY recommend. Easy to find, good parking, good for younger kids too, close to food, groceries, etc. Great first visit! We go back next month so I’ll update if anything changes

We loved the dentist and staff the first time we went in for our son six months ago, so we've recommended this dentist to all our first-time millennial parent friends. That won't be the case moving forward. We scheduled his second appointment the day we left his first. I arrived on time for the appointment this morning at 9:30 a.m., but they canceled it without informing us because my spouse supposedly missed the call to confirm. My spouse said they got a reminder text but no call. Why send a reminder text if you're going to cancel? Policy or not, if they are going to do this, they could, at minimum, text or leave a VM saying they canceled the appointment. I’m so angry they didn't alert me that it was canceled; the lady just gave me a deadpan stare. I have a 2-year-old son; his appointment took about 10 minutes last time. They acted like I had no life or schedule and asked if I could come back in at 11 — I had to wrangle myself and him this morning to make it on time that early, and it seemed like they could care less. Not to mention, I have a 2-month-old daughter; maybe it's my postpartum rage talking. I’m annoyed at the dentist's lack of care and communication. I guess I’m back to the drawing board for a new dentist for my kids. Please take what you will from this, but I’m annoyed because we will most likely not be back. ———— UPDATE: I spoke with the dentist directly. She seemed to care about our experience and said she retrained her front desk. She also said that had she been made aware of the situation, they would have taken the time to make his appointment work, as, due to his age, it would have been a quick visit. I discussed that even though we had given them both of our contact information, I wasn’t contacted about the appointment, and I should have been listed as the primary contact. They updated this. I also suggested they start a policy to alert any parents or guardians on the accounts when they cancel appointments. This would be helpful so we don't show up if they cancel them due to parents not confirming or missing any calls/texts to confirm. I am unsure if this will be done. I suggested it would be nice if they allowed people to confirm appointments via text. I have rescheduled my son's appointment because the office manager and dentist were so kind and took the opportunity to try to communicate and fix the situation. My son always felt comfortable and loved the dentist during our first visit. I want to do what is best for him. After our visit, I will update my review once more to see what changes are made and how it feels to return to the dentist's office.

The Dentist and staff were incredibly kind and patient. You can tell that they truly love working with kids! It was our first visit so nerves were high. They explained everything and took their time, but did a thorough job cleaning. We are so lucky to have landed with such a great place! I’d definitely recommend to any Nashville families with small kids.

I cannot recommend East Nashville Pediatric Dentistry enough. I have been bringing my two boys here since they opened and have always had top notch care from the front desk, dental assistants, and Dr. Sandidge. If you live in the area and have kids, take them here for care...you will not be disappointed.

Someone referred me here & it’s far from me BUT the reviews convinced me to try them. Let me tell you best decision EVER. They aren’t scheduled till October but my daughter was complaining about tooth pain & they made me an emergency appointment for her. So glad they were able to since we discovered her tooth were infected! Already liking this place & I’m so glad I made the switch! Also they have toys for kids to play with amazing as it keeps the siblings busy while you focus on the others getting treated.

Very happy with this practice. The staff and dentist are all super kind and understand how to talk to kids. My girls leave their cleanings in a really happy mood. One of them needed a cavity filled and I was nervous about it but they were super patient and nice and she got through it with no problems.

Would say our experience has be so so, at first they were great at text reminders and appointments. However, my child was scheduled for a surgery which I was called about Friday, however I was driving and thought I put in my calendar which it must not have saved and missed her surgery the following Monday because I couldn’t find the time I was suppose to be there through them or the hospital at which her surgery was.. of course you can look back at a text..can’t remember a phone call! Plus I have a busy busy schedule this week (just moved, transferring schools, school break, thanksgiving etc etc the list could go on, )never received a text with the date and time like they normally do.. and staff seemed rude and inconsiderate of that fact..saying “well we called Friday.” “You didn’t text us” how was I suppose to know they text back over the weekends when business hours are closed. Then dropped my daughter over 1 missed appointment! Referred her to doctor WAYYYY out of our way. Wish I could’ve just gotten a text reminder of her appointment time like they normally would do! Was I suppose to just show u and hope for the best? Either way unfortunate. Make sure they send a text reminder of appointment times if your a busy mom like myself!!! Gotta go through this process all over again… ridiculous
