I had a great experience at Dundas Valley Dentistry. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and professional. The hygienist did a thorough and gentle cleaning, and Dr. Mark Shankman was excellent. He took the time to explain everything and made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. I highly recommend this dental clinic!

Dr. Shankman took me on as an emergency case. My situation was a little more complicated then anticipated. But him and his team were very patient and gracious with me, squeezing me in to make things work out. I am forever grateful....and I can't forget this little guy who greets me everytime

Used to be a great place to go to. Now your calls don't get returned, your appointments get cancelled or the dentist has already left by your appointment time. Beyond frustrated. Update: ** waiting for a reschedule ** not only did the office call me back to apologize, but the dentist reached out himself as well. Giving 1 more chance as life does happen sometimes, and he used to be awesome.

A ‘dentist’ who prefers to think of himself as a ‘businessman’ My last 2 appointments he was in a ‘business meeting’ and was not available for my appointment. No advance notice. It’s clear where his priorities are. I have lost all trust in this ‘businessman/dentist’. would not recommend. Steer clear!

Whilst cleaning was good, I lost about $190 due to the appointment code being changed during my appointment. I was told I was booking for one appointment type, then got charged for another appointment code, meaning my insurance could not be used and I had to pay out of pocket. I specifically asked to ensure the appointment would have a certain code. When I enquired about the charge, I was told I could no longer be refunded for the appointment but a credit would be put on my account. When I tried to make an appointment to use the credit, I was told there was no credit, and the receptionist I spoke to was not authorized to tell me I had credit before.
