Dr. William H. Smythe, DMD

I have been a patient of Dr Steve Smythe (now retired) since 2008. Dr. Steve and his wonderful staff too very good care of me and he did beautiful work. I actually looked forward to going to the dentist as they made you feel so st ease. Now I am seeing Dr. William Smythe who I found to be just as good and professional as his brother. I had my teeth cleaned by Kylie and she was very personable and professional. I have known Karen since 2008 and she is still as kind and professional as always. The entire practice makes you feel at ease. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Smythe’s practice is great. I was seen as a new patient for a cleaning and to address some dental issues. My dental hygienist, Madeline, was wonderful in patient education and at easing my nerves. Receptionist Robin reviewed an extensive treatment plan and helped me schedule multiple dates to get my dental problems taken care of. Dr. Smythe was very kind and informative. Very happy with them!

Im usually very anxious and apprehensive about going to the dentist, but Dr. Smythe and staff (especially Jenny/) are absolutely amazing! Despite my dental needs being neglected for a substantial amount of time, I have been treated with great care and respect. I have honestly never been to a more caring and professional dental office in my life. Very grateful I chose Dr. Smythe and staff to get my health where it needs to be.

Dr. Smythe is the best dentist I have ever been to in my lifetime! He is knowledgeable, methodical, professional and personable. His staff, including dental hygienist, Jenny is always friendly and professional. They have my highest approval and appreciation for their services!

I have worked in the health insurance industry for over a decade and worked with some of the top providers in the country but nobody compares to Dr. William Smythe and his staff. I gave up on my health after a very long depressive episode so my teeth were in awful shape. I was very anxious about going to the dentist but that anxiety immediately went away when I scheduled my first appointment. Every visit, I was treated with care and kindness. Made me feel like I was a family member and not just a patient. Everyone in the office is so sweet. I plan on moving to another state but will make visits back to Louisville for my regular visits to see Dr. Smythe. He is truly a gem in the community

Very professional office with a great demeanor! From having teeth cleaning to fillings, the staff are always concerned about your comfort with no pain being experienced during the visit. They have patient history pulled up during your visit and any updates are made at that moment to assure everything is captured. Follow-up appointments are also made before you leave while still in the chair so stopping at the front desk is not necessary. Good office atmosphere alleviates some of the potential anxiety of a dental visit!

I had such a great experience at Dr. Bills office everyone is so awesome, nice and knowledgeable. I went in there with some tooth pain, and they managed to fit me in that day. I’m sure that wouldn’t happen every time. But it was super nice to know they cared, since I told them I could barely eat on that side.

As someone that works in the dental field I’m very picky on who my family and I see as our provider. After working with many dentists in the area I realized I don’t trust any of their judgment or work. Came across Dr Smythe’s office on google and liked what I read about them. After my husband and I both seeing them I have nothing but amazing things to say!!! It was so quick getting scheduled, our hygienist, Kyley, was very trustworthy, she knew what she was talking about, and she was very involved. Dr Smythe couldn’t have been any more gentle or thorough; and I absolutely appreciated him explaining treatment in terms that my husband could understand and relate to. We each needed referrals out and they got us in quick and nothing about this process has stressed us out. If there’s a dentist I would now recommend in Louisville, it’s Dr. Smythe!
