My father was first to call upon Dr. Blooms professional services and when the most critical patient of all, my father, raved about the care, quality service, and skill set that Dr. Bloom demonstrated we were all sold and have been patients ever since.Dr. Bloom is a throwback to dentists of yesteryear who actually care about and for their patients. He educates his patients so they can make an informed decision and be part of their dental well being .

I stopped going to my NYC dentist after seeing Dr. Bloom a couple of times. He was better trained, more experienced and more knowledgable. He does the job quickly and efficiently and I've never had any of it go wrong. My husband now sees him and my daughter has as well. I recommend him highly, I now don't dread going to the dentist.

I foolishly had Dr. Bloom do two root canals for me. It was very expensive including two posts and crowns. I remember how he boasted how good he was at root canals and that he did them all day long at another office. Well they have both failed! The only chance at saving them is a surgical procedure that is painful and about $1000.00 for each tooth. And may or may not work! My insurance will not pay for the procedures, but will pay to have them pulled out. Because I have had repeated infections due to the failed root canals I will have to have them extracted. Sorry but look at my yelp and healthgrades reviews-. unfortunately some patients need to complain and write unwarranted scathing reviews.Especially a patient that hasn,t been to my office since 2009 and allowed her to pay for treatment over 8mos. and never contacted me since .Having practiced close to 50yrs -fortunately have treated mostly satisfied patients always with the utmost care. yes dentistry is a repair health profession and due to unknown factors some root canals fail but the percentage is extremely low-retreating is an option-not just extractions -I,m available always for emergency treatment as I always answer my phone directly-I,m a dedicated dentist and am quite surprised getting this negative review btw have done over 5000 root canals in my career as well as being on hospital staffs in endodontics-
