Dr. Paul Sims

Dr. Sims came in for an emergency surgery to fix my teeth and jaw. None of us were positive that my teeth could be saved since they had been knocked out but I woke up from surgery with my teeth and jaw fixed, 3 months post op I still have my smile and Dr. Sims has been great. I’m so thankful, him and his team are so kind and always helpful.

I had surgery when I was 15 and had 2 teeth removed in 2 seperate surgeries. The first surgery, Sims seemed very rushed, unprepared and anxious. The second surgery, Sims was all over the place and rushed my surgery. Sims was in such a rush that he numbed me in a different area; as he went to pull out my tooth I felt everything. Sims ended up numbing me more but again in the wrong spot; as he worked on my mouth again the pain was horrendous. I tell Sims that it hurts and he finally numbed me in the right area. Sims then decided he was going to hold my face down during my procedure. I still felt pain but couldn't say anything because his hand was holding my face down. After my procedure I had a big bruise on my face that went all the way up to my eye. I looked like I had just been in a boxing match. This experience has caused me ptsd and I won't ever be able to forget this nightmare. Please listen to your instincts because most of the time they are right. If I would have then I would've never went through Dr. Sims.
