Beware of this dentist! He performs procedures on children that are not necessary. I was told my daughter had a cavity that needed to be filled and that 2 of her baby teeth needed to be pulled because her permanents were growing in underneath the baby teeth. When I asked him to thoroughly explain the process i.e. how many shots she would need, I was told that I shouldn’t be concerned with how many shots she would need. He was unwilling to explain further. I took her to a different dentist for a second opinion and she did not even have a cavity And they were against pulling her teeth.

Our first visit here was less than stellar!!! I made this appointment for my son's first ever dentist visit. We were told "oh yeah we will show him all the tools and instruments". This is not how it went down at all. First of all, we waited 45 minutes to be seen. Then when we got back to the room, my son was quite apprehensive to lay in the chair. Instead of suggesting that I lay in the chair and hold him in my lap, they had me hold him down and restrain him. The dentist didn't even introduce himself to my son. I almost felt like they were annoyed with the way my son was acting. My son was basically hyperventilating but yet they continued with their exam. Needless to say that both my son and myself were crying when we left that office. We will never go back and would never recommend this dentist office to anyone!!

I don't know about all the other negative comments but Dr Shuster has been a great dentist for my 3 children. Never had a problem! Always came out after the visit to consult on the condition of their teeth & his concerns if there were any. He has also held community events just for the kids and it was a fun time! I'm sad he retired but well deserved!

Wouldn't recommend this dentist to anyone he is extremely inconsiderate towards his patients and doesn't listen to their concerns, he was drilling one of my cavities and I raised my hand to tell him that it was hurting me and take a little break and he told me to put my hand down because it was in his way. Needless to say I cried during that appointment and no one even ask me once I started crying if I was ok, he doesn't care about the patient he just gets his job done as fast and moves on to next patient!

Awesome my son has been going for years and he loves it there have not had any problems with them.
