I can't speak highly enough of Dr. John Houston and the exceptional care he provided during my father's bone augmentation surgery. From our first consultation, Dr. Houston was attentive, thorough, and took the time to explain the procedure in detail, addressing all our concerns. The surgery itself went smoothly, and his expertise was evident throughout the process. The staff was friendly and supportive, making us feel comfortable at every step. Dr. Houston is one of the most professional and compassionate dentists or physicians I have ever seen. I feel so lucky to have been referred to him by Dr. Matt Mortenson! He completed my complicated implant surgery quickly, with a lot of care and conversation beforehand, and performed magic on a front tooth implant. I was nervous about leaving the procedure without a tooth, and although he wanted to give me what I wanted, he was cautious about over-promising. However, when I left, I had exactly what I wanted! Recovery was so much easier than I thought—no swelling, no bleeding, and honestly no pain. I am only tired after surgery, and the surgical site is uncomfortable—but I am so surprised at how well I have bounced back. I had heard nightmares from other patients at other practices, but nothing like that was experienced here. Dr. Houston and his assistant (Janet? I feel so bad for not remembering her name, but the drugs did the trick...) are AMAZING. The assistant's incredible level of care made a big difference in my anxiety about the procedure. I am not normally anxious about anything, so they had to over-do the amount of reassurance they gave me. Thank you, thank you, thank you! The temporary I have on my front tooth will fool most people I come in contact with, and in a few months I expect my dentist to be able to finish things out well. Dr. Houston has ended the process I have been putting off for about a decade. His artistry, care and great surgical techniques provided the best possible scenario for my oral and mental health.

Met Dr. Houston and team in June for a consult on a bridge that came loose over implants. I was so pleased to learn the issue was with the abutments and not my implants. Today I got a new implant and it was the best experience. The entire team were wonderful, so gentle, professional and kind. Dr. Houston you and your team are the best!!! I'm very happy!! Dr. Houston is the best you can get. I seen him for an implant after a failed root canal that caused me to surprisingly lose my tooth. He made me feel at ease. He also teaches at the U of L school of dentistry. Highly recommend!!!
