Dr. David D. Hayes Family Dentistry

Heidi, Lauren, Terrie (I think was her name), and doctor Hayes were all super welcoming and very patient with my slew of questions. As a first time customer with severe anxiety around dentists, not only did everyone treat me very kindly but also seemed to genuinely be happy to help me out. The dentists were very gentle and made me as comfortable as possible! 12/10 will be back again!!!!

I called today, 1-30-24 at 9:35 am, a lady who answered my call was not committed to answer my inquiries and lied just to skip talking to me. I called to set a schedule and when this lady asked what type of insurance I have, I answered I was not so sure. I was about to say, “please give a minute to check my account online” but she didn’t give me that chance. She told me to wait and she’s going to check on the computer system which I didn’t believe because she didn’t know my details even my name. I waited over the phone for several minutes then she picked up the phone and told me to call back again. I think that racism and discrimination were the reasons as I have different accent. Poor service and unprofessional staff!

Dr. Hayes and his staff are so nice and so gentle. I went in having tremendous pain, they were so kind and very careful not to make the pain worse. I found a great dentist! Edit: 24 hours after having, like, 11 teeth pulled, I haven't been feeling any pain. Teeth extracted at 10am, by 8pm I was in very little pain. 6am the next morning (this morning) there was zero pain. I've only had mild discomfort. If that's not a sign of a fantastic dentist, nothing is. I've had bad extractions and I've had worse extractions, all with pain for several days afterwards. Dr. Hayes worked very quickly, and the complete lack of pain the next day is the best review anyone could give. I will absolutely be sending everyone I know to Dr. Hayes.

The best, most compassionate dental care I have ever received. Totally worth the 3 hour drive from Charleston. Highly recommend Dr. Hayes. They got me in quickly, addressed my immediate concern and made a comprehensive, well-defined care plan going forward. Can't say enough good things here!

As always, Dr. Hayes and his staff were pleasant and very welcoming. Although, I suffer from anxiety, Dr Hayes always finds ways to comfort me with care, understanding, and reassurance that helps me relax enough to get through the procedure. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hayes’ for roughly 10 years...and often times not being in my insurance network, I would never consider going anywhere else. A VERY satisfied patient, Lisa Paul
