Dr. Alex Smolyar, DMD

I have been a patient of Dr. Smolyar’s for nearly four years and I cannot recommend his services enough. Upon moving to Newton, MA from NYC back in 2020, I was in desperate need of a reputable dentist. My realtor’s mom spoke so highly of Dr. Smolyar’s practice, that I decided to take her word for it. I can whole heartedly say that I am so grateful that she wasn’t a gatekeeper! Dr. Smolyar and his team, specifically Deb his office manager, are professional, knowledgeable and treat each patient like family. I literally love and look forward to each visit. Dr. Smolyar is a remarkable and ethical provider. I will never forget the time that I traveled back to NYC and a crown fell off during a business trip. I saw a local provider who was convinced I needed to replace the crown immediately. Upon returning home to Dr. Smolyar, he did a thorough exam and told me I would get an additional 2 years out of the crown and he wouldn’t take my money! He is a man of integrity and building that type of trust is unheard of these days. He’s very well known for his pristine cosmetic work (his veneer cases are to die for) but he recently pointed out a few areas where I could benefit from some additional Botox. I had never gotten Botox outside of a medspa type of environment. I am floored that he made this 43 year old face look like a newborn baby! He put Botox in places I never knew you could and the result is both natural and impactful. Dr. Smolyar just understands facial structure and balance unlike anyone I’ve worked with before. Also notable, his Botox lasts! Whether you need a basic cleaning, whitening or you’ve been putting off more in depth dental work-don’t hesitate to put your trust in Dr. Smolyar-he’s in a league of his own and his bedside manner will restore your faith in the true definition of individual care!

Dr. Smolyar is a dental genius, a true Einstein in the world of reconstructive dentistry. After enduring chronic migraines for years and consulting various specialists, Dr. Smolyar not only diagnosed and treated my migraines without medication but also addressed my clenching and grinding issues. Thanks to his expertise, I now have a reason to smile without any pain. This transformation has been truly life-changing, and I'm incredibly grateful to Dr. Smolyar for his exceptional care and my beautiful smile.

Dr Smolyar has been my dentist for over two decades, He is the epitome of the human side of dentistry. I am so grateful that he was available to assist me with a dental emergency without hesitation 25 plus years ago when my own dentist was unavailable. I never returned to my old practice once I met him. Kind, compassionate, remarkably skilled. No judgement! As someone who was very nervous about going to the dentist for many years, Dr. Smolyar was amazing! He is kind, honest, and efficient. He and his team is extremely talented and the office is overall very welcoming.

Went in for a routine cleaning, and now coming here every 6 months for my cleaning has become MY routine. Walking in, I felt so welcomed by the office manager, Debbie, who is super friendly. Dr. Smolyar and the hygienist Jordan are very skilled, professional, and I could tell they genuinely cared about my dental health. I would highly recommend this dental office!

I can strongly recommend everything about Dr. Smolyar, his staff, and associates. They are all extremely friendly, caring, and competent, bringing the perfect mix of professionalism and familiarity. Although I cannot honestly say that I enjoy every type of dental procedure, I very much don't mind going to his office. The work is excellent, and I feel very much that my health is improved through the experience.

I’m a long time patient of Dr. Smolyar. I am extremely pleased with my Invisalign and tooth implant. If you want best of the best, this is it. An incredible practice with a remarkable team of administrators, hygienist and dentists. Everyone is congenial, professional, efficient and skilled. Absolute pros!
