DownEast Pediatric Dentistry

My son has had a few visits with Dr. Jackson, and all have been positive experiences. All of the staff are friendly and Dr. Jackson is very kind and great about explaining everything that is happening and making my son feel as comfortable as possible. So far we have only been for cleanings, but I imagine that he does a great job with any work he does.

My five year old son chipped two molars and needed caps put on. Our family practice said that we would need to see a pediatric dentist, so we found DownEast in the list our insurance provided. Dr. Louis Jackson has wonderful energy and made the experience so much easier on my son. He called the caps, "Iron man teeth" and other super hero references to help my Marvel obsessed son feel better about the process. He is the BEST pediatric dentist that we've seen for all of our three children. I've decided to drive 40 minutes to see him regularly. If you're looking for a new provider, I can't recommend him enough.

This is the best pediatric dentistry we have ever attended. Dr. Jackson and his team are caring for my two daughters. They became patients at 2 and 5 and we have regular visits since. I can't say enough good things about this team. They are caring, patient, professional, and phenomenal with kids. My older daughter was terrified of going to the dentist and she had a few cavities when we first saw Dr. Jackson. He performed a very tough procedure for her and she did amazing thanks to his thoughtful planning and excellent work. Quality of care is excellent and it always feels like fun, even for me. All thanks to these guys.

Dr. Jackson is wonderful with our toddler. We've been for three visits and he is always upbeat and takes the time to speak to my 2.5 yr old directly while showing him the tools he uses and explaining what will happen next. I can tell that he is working hard to create a positive experience for him at a young age surrounding dental work, which, let's face it, is usually pretty unpleasant. I took a chance on this practice based on the few positive reviews, and I am so glad I did. The staff is great too, 10/10 recommend!

Our daughter needed an extraction and several cavities filled immediately as they were causing toothaches. We could not get an appointment anywhere else after calling 6 other pediatric dentists in the state. This office got us in quickly, scheduled an appointment promptly and got the job done quickly. Furthermore, after a bad experience at another pediatric dentist office, my kid was super anxious. Dr. Jackson (and his assistant) were wonderful - he allowed me to hold her hand (some places won't let parents in the room!) and he went slowly, letting her get used to all the tools and carefully explaining what each one did. Despite her fear, he was able to complete extensive work without her flipping out and she never wants to go anywhere else! Highly recommended!!!
