The dentist and assistant were nice and professional. Can’t speak for the rest of the staff. The front desk woman(behind the plexi board) greeted everyone but myself, she read off all their information for them nice and quick, but made me speak all my information aloud. That started my irritation. Woman who took us in the back and the woman who X-rayed my special needs son, should have been corrections officers rather than working with kids. Just very cold and mechanical. No warmth whatsoever. I’m a loving affectionate mother so this was very unsettling for me. Esp having special needs children. Isn’t there some kind of empathy training people in the medical field need to take now? Especially for a dentist who specializes in dealing with special needs kids? They should. Make you look and seem less like a robot and more like a human being.

Dr. Bresler has restored my respect for dentistry. I have not been a fan of taking my kids to the dentist due to the factory-like atmosphere that I have felt in many offices. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Bresler himself, he was gentle, caring, knowledgeable, and willing. He made all the necessary phone calls to her specialist for the clearances needed. I’ve had dentist say that she needs a dentist that deals with special needs , Dr. Bresler met my sweet girl as if he already knew her personally. All I can say is thank you ??

A parent should never have to advocate for their child the way I had to advocate for mine at today’s visit to make sure she was getting the proper treatment. The doctor who attended her treatment was ready to move on to the next client and giving us constant misinformation. The treatment plan changed two or three times between yesterday and 4.5 visit today. She gaslight my daughter while administering the pain medication( lidocaine) and they hold children down so they won’t fend for themselves. I’m ok with continuing with a procedure that is not painful but scary for a child’s first visit to the dentist but this was not necessary. Won’t get into the fact that I paid out of pocket because we make too much to qualify for insurance and but had to take a small loan to pay for today. Meanwhile, if I were an illegal immigrant all of this would have been totally free. Overall, practitioners need to be schooled on not rushing patience, not gaslighting children, be ready for moms who will ask a lot of questions to make sure the treatment plan presented actually is actually sensible and not just racking up a bill cause they can, and finally be aware of how much each procedure cost.

All the staff is very patient and smooth with the kids. The doctors explain the procedure to the parents so you feel clear and safe for your child.

They told me to come in today for appointment I was running behind for. When I got there the man with a mask at the desk told me he doesn't know who answer the phone when we arrive to tell us to come even tho we were late. Why make us drive there ? It was an hr trip . He made us reschedule. He was not a big help. He made us reschedule without any explanation of why someone told us to come up there! Terrible experience.
