Devonshire House

Have visited my friend’s apartment here on multiple occasions and can’t speak highly enough of how much fun we have. And you know what? I think a large part of that is thanks to the building. So, thanks Devonshire House. Thanks for the good times! 5 stars!

Lots of space for my seven nannies! My only complaint is that the mirror in the hallway makes my pants look less shiny and my slippers less frumpy than real life.

My home since birth. Stunning building. Best staff ever. Best location in the city. Very dog-friendly. Couldn’t ask for more. Easy walking distance to every subway and a stone’s-throw from some of the best dog-runs Downtown has to offer (which, sadly, don’t compare to Central Park or Riverside, but what’s a dog-mom to do?). An eclectic mix of the ultra-rich (and often famous) and us simple, rent-stabilized folks. We were all terrified that the new management would try sleazy tactics to oust us renters, but we got lucky and everyone’s been lovely since the building went co-op in 2008. As for our celebrity neighbors — they are *extremely* courteous to both their neighbors and the staff. I accidentally found myself in front of Alec and fam when the paparazzi was outside and it is literally frightening... I used to be one of those folks who thought Boo-Hoo, you’re a gazillionaire actor, so sorry the press wants to take photos of you! but since seing what these creatures do to the Baldwins... It’s disgusting. Fifteen huge, loud, flashing cameras in your newborn’s face? TMZ screaming accusations at you in front of your 4-year-old daughter? If you saw it you’d feel the same, I promise. We love our celebrity neighbors... Dunno anyone here who’s had a bad encounter with them or an unkind word to say.

Very creepy lady with a bunch of kids lives here. And some old guy with bags on his eyes follows them around. Creepy.
