Desert Valley Pediatric Dentistry - Avondale

The worst service I've experience at a dentist office. The dentist refused to provide service to my son because he unable to stand still on a scale because of his special needs. I waited 3 months for them to get us in to sedate my son. 3 prior confirmed notifications and the day before to ensure I knew the procedure for my son before he was sedated, I arrive to the appointment and after him not staying still they advised he would have to go to sleep to do any work on him. That is exactly what this appointment should have been. They asked me to reschedule 2 months out again. Why? Because my son's spectrum of understanding didn't meet dentist "Sara's" criteria of kids she can work on. Never had I experienced a group of people who can lie and refuse service to an innocent child! Shame on them and the career they chose as they allowed my sons service to be refused at this office! To make the situation even worse, the office Manager was sick and hasn't returned my calls and the front reception refused to provide his name. Think twice about where you choose to take your children and how they will be treated! This place is a joke!

The first appointment I felt was a little bit rushed and felt kinda impersonal. But, when we came back for treatment the dentist was so nice, patient and gentle. I felt she was the perfect dentist for my naturally anxious daughter. My daughter’s teeth feel so much better now and she said the visit was “not as bad as she thought” I would definitely go back.

My son had to get a lot of work done today on his teeth. He has autism and I am so grateful for the care they provided. DVP was able to see him quickly, and explained everything to me. The staff is very friendly as well. I will definitely be bringing him back.

This recent visit was awesome!!! NO CAVITIES!!! For my 6 year old. The staff here are amazing they make my baby feel so safe and comfortable. Not sure what the girl in the fronts name is, but she is great and always has a big smile when we walk in. I LOVE YOUR STYLE GIRL!!!! You rock and so does the entire staff. We love you guys!!!

I love my kids coming here but for an x-ray tech and the dental assistant to be in a mood for their reason shouldn’t be put on our kids especially little kids while still learning about teeth brushing they don’t know how your equipment works and for the tech to be I didn’t call you in a tone after asking to take jewelry off could have said give me a min I’ll call you not just I didn’t call you in a rude tone. Not all staff is bad but these 2 definitely wouldn’t want them I need a patiently mannered person
