Dentists of South Bay

Everyone was very friendly. The office itself is outdated, the chairs in the waiting area are old, the hygienists gowns had holes in them. I almost agreed to do the $12,000 worth of work they recommended, but my gut told me to get a second opinion. I had never had extensive work before, just fillings. I've always had good experiences at dentists and have been told I have great teeth. I've had the occasional cavity, but was shocked when Dentists of South Bay said I needed a crown, and possibly a root canal. Because this is where my HMO insurance is accepted my out of pocket expense would have been $2,500. I decided to pay $380 to see a dentist outside my network who I had seen before. I figured it was worth it to get a second opinion. They cleaned my teeth and found the cavity where I was told I needed a crown, and possibly a root canal. They said all I needed was a filling. My out of pocket for the filling was $380 without insurance. I paid less somewhere else out of pocket that I would have going through where my insurance is accepted. HUH?

What an amazing team. Dr. To is so intune with my needs. I appreciate the education that she provides on the mouth and how it connects to your body. Jenny is so wonderful and thorough. New technology and so much information to learn from this wonderful office.

Dr To (Toe) and her staff are awesome!! I have been going for years. And VERY GENTAL teeth cleaning. (I’m a huge baby LOL)

The customer service here is impeccable. First off... the front desk attendants were both sweethearts (& extremely helpful and knowledgeable). And the Dentist & Dental assistants were all Angels ;) They're all super professional over there; and they treated me like a Star, and gave me a great deal. Shout of to Dr. Joan To for giving me a nice (long over due) deep cleaning & and a special shout out to Dental Assistant Alicia for being so freaking cool, professional, funny and down to earth. I'd HIGHLY recommend Dentist of South Bay for anyone located in and/or visiting LA County. P.S. The wait times are super short too. I got in right away. They're very generous and considerate.

Great Experience here. I am a new patient and was able to get in within a week not months like other dental offices. I was able to get all my dental needs taken care of in one visit. Doctor and staff all so very helpful and pleasant to work with. Will definitely recommend this office to family and friends.

I've had the BEST experience here! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The Dentists are truly exceptional! I'd recommend this location to anyone. I was referred by my mom who goes here because she knows how nervous i get going to the dentist. I'm so glad that i was!!

The staff here are incredibly nice & caring! Very thorough with their examinations. I have anxiety due to past (negative) experiences with dentists, and they went beyond in explaining what I needed done and why. Dentists of South Bay is fantastic! Everyone who works there is incredibly nice and patient. I have been going to Dr. To for years and definitely recommend her. Her work is always perfect. If you need a dentist in Torrance, go see Dr. To.

I love this dental practice. I have always been a ‘petrified dental patient’ but not now! The staff here is wonderful! Kind, caring and very knowledgeable. I look forward to my next visit !
