I visited Dentists of Bellevue for a bit of an emergency appointment- my permanent retainer had broken off on one tooth and I didn't have any dentists in the area I was familiar with. They took my insurance so I booked the earliest appointment I could for a cleaning and left a note about my situation- I received a call within the next couple of hours to confirm my appointment, and they even said they would call if anyone cancelled to see me sooner for my retainer! They were so incredibly professional during my appointment; they answered all of my questions about cost upfront as I was not sure how fixing my retainer would fit in with my insurance. They were very transparent and checked multiple times that I was okay with the price/ additional procedures they recommended while also cleaning my teeth. They did an excellent job with the exams, the cleaning (which included a laser procedure to help with my sensitive gums that was recommended, but not pushed on me, that has already made a noticeable difference with bleeding when I floss) and with fixing my retainer, and the whole appointment took less than an hour. I can't recommend this office enough! Every single person, from the secretary, to the hygienist, to the dentist, was kind, caring, and very transparent with my many questions!! They also said if my insurance would not cover my x-rays, they would not charge me for them (I have crap dental), which is a first for me in any doctors office. Most would just not take them, but they said it was important for my care as a new patient and not to worry about the cost- either insurance would cover it or the office would not charge me. Seriously, just a great dental office!
Do not recommend. Unfortunately, from my perspective this dentist office suffers from various issues that stem from lack of leadership, high turn over and very inexperienced staff. Hygienists will constantly try and convince you to agree to costly extra procedures that aren’t covered through insurance. Very long wait times, my final visit took almost two hours to complete a scheduled routine cleaning. Don’t be afraid to question the receptionist when they say you owe money. I got told multiple times I owed money, but after I mentioned my insurance should cover everything, the bill was all of a sudden taken care of. Always left me feeling uncomfortable and unsure of what was going on behind the scenes. For all these reasons, my family is taking our business elsewhere.
DO NOT GO TO THIS DISHONEST DENTAL PRACTICE! I was told I needed a deep cleaning initially every three months. I have never been told that before. I agreed. Meanwhile, three family members went there soon after and all three were told they needed deep cleanings. This raised a red flag for all of us. We all moved to a different dentist. Our new dentist, like the one prior to Dentists of Bellevue, told all of us we did not need a deep cleaning. Our new dentist found decay on my tooth that needed a crown that they missed. My new dentist let me know that in a couple months it would be a root canal. The decay was so close to the the root, I may still need a root canal but only time will tell. I had the expense of a crown due to them missing the treatment for this tooth and paying out of pocket for expensive deep cleanings. I called the office and let Cindy know, the Office Manager, and she could care less. Hope this helps with your decision.
DO NOT GO HERE. I am great about my dental hygiene, I have been going to a dentist regularly my whole life. I moved down here recently and needed to find a new one, so I started going here. On my first visit they did a deep clean and recommended I get a water pick and that they laser my gums. They told me I shouldn’t ever have to laser them again as long as I was good about my water pick. They told me a water pick was better than string floss. So I paid $300 out of pocket for the laser and moved on. I trusted them. Well, Monday I went in for my routine exam. They told me my gums were in terrible condition, that I needed the laser again, I needed a saliva test, I needed all sorts of stuff that would come out to $700 out of pocket. They never really explained what was going on with my teeth, they just made me feel like it was a crisis. They said I would need cleaning every 3 months. I decided to get a second opinion. The second opinion told me my gums needed some cleaning but I didn’t need any of the things they recommended and that they didn’t have any serious concerns about my teeth. So now I was panicking for days only to find out Dentists of Bellevue was incorrect in their diagnosis. All this to say, I do not recommend them. I think they care more about getting money than making sure their patients understand what’s going on in their mouths. Just want to caution anyone else considering going here.
I went in for a crown after having a root canal. They do same day crowns!! From start to finish it took less than 2 hours and was painless. I am very happy with the end result. The crown was a perfect fit. Staff was very friendly and professional. Dr Macy Begley did a perfect job.
All I can say is I left the office thinking I just had the best service in a long time. I went for a NP consultation and cleaning. Not only was everyone super nice and accommodating, I felt listened to and valued. Dr. Griffin's Hygenist was very knowledgeable and helpful. I loved how she went over step by step of my care plan. I had a couple of issues that needed addressed ASAP, they got it done same morning, even though i was only there for a cleaning. 🤯 Pricing was very transparent. The office Manager went into detail and made sure each of my questions were answered. I was super impressed the OFFICE MANAGER, personally took care of me. Dr. Griffin, and her staff deserve more than 5 stars! I will be going back and setting up my family's future appointments with them.

Hands down, bar none the absolute best experience I’ve ever had while getting dental work done. After 28 years of US Navy dental work, I had a number of metal fillings which ultimately led to fracturing and requiring crowns on 4 teeth. After having a less than easy crown experience on one tooth with my previous dentist, I went to Dr. Begley to get the next two crowns done. Not only was the office able to accommodate an appointment 2 days before Christmas, they were able to do both crowns IN THE SAME DAY! No need to have a temporary crown implanted, then return two weeks later to have the permanent crown installed. Nope - Dr. Begley’s office is equipped with the CEREC system which allows for single visit permanent crowns to be uniquely manufactured and implanted. I arrived for my appointment at about 9 in the morning and immediately had x-rays taken. Dr. Begley came in and discussed options with me - including consideration for the potential of any post-procedure discomfort which might impact my holiday plans. I very sincerely appreciated the open and thoughtful conversation. I didn’t feel any pressure one way or another - the decision was all mine. Once we settled on a treatment plan, Dr. Begley gave me the first of three anesthetic shots - at least that’s what she told me. After the first shot I didn’t feel anything else for the rest of the day. No kidding, I didn’t even feel the poke of the second and third anesthetic shots! Dr. Begley finished up all the crown prep work and I didn’t feel even an ounce of discomfort. This is in sharp contrast to my previous experience with my first crown at a my previous (former - because I’m never going back there again) dentist. After all the prep work, I had about 45 minutes to stretch my legs as the crowns were being manufactured on site. I appreciated having a little break in the day and took advantage of the opportunity to get some fresh air. I got back to the office right as my crowns were being finished up. They fit just like Cinderella’s slipper - no adjustments required at all. Dr. Begley finished the crown procedure lickety split and 20 minutes after walking out I was sitting in a restaurant enjoying some lunch. Admittedly, it was a long day (arrived about 8:45, left about 2:30 with a 45 minute break in the day), but it was worth every second. And the icing on the cake? The total cost for BOTH crowns was about half what I had previously spent for a SINGLE crown at the old dentist. Absolutely the BEST DENTIST I’ve ever been to. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for quality, friendly, and prompt dental care.
