NEVER, NEVER, NEVER go to this dentistry! Avoid Dr. Coke at all costs. The treatment I received was not only terrible but also negligent. In 2021, I visited this clinic for a dental issue where part of my #6 tooth was missing. Despite having no pain and no exposed nerve, Dr. Coke insisted I needed a root canal. Not understanding fully, I trusted her advice and proceeded with the treatment, paying $2,497 out of pocket, as I had no insurance at the time. The very next day after the procedure, I experienced severe pain, swelling, and bubbles in my gums. I couldn’t eat or bite anything. When I went back, Dr. Coke casually said the root canal might have failed and proposed redoing it. When I asked what would happen if it failed again, she nonchalantly replied, "Then you'll just need to have the tooth extracted." No concern for my pain or well-being, just another costly procedure! She didn't even bother referring me to a specialist. I couldn’t trust her after her first failure. For three years, I endured constant pain and discomfort. By 2023, my tooth had gotten worse, developing an infection that led to apical periodontitis. In October, the crown she placed fell off. When I returned to her clinic, she suggested redoing the root canal again – and wanted to charge me the full price! How does that make sense when I already paid nearly $3,000 for a failed procedure? During that visit, without confirming my consent, her assistant administered anesthesia, further aggravating the situation. I didn't even go through with the procedure in the end because I had completely lost trust in her abilities. I asked Dr. Coke what caused the failure, and she couldn't even provide a clear answer, suggesting my tooth might have been fractured, which was impossible considering how healthy it was initially. She then recommended extracting the tooth and fitting a flipper – at an additional cost of $500. By this point, I knew I couldn’t trust her with my dental care anymore. Update: I went to a different dental clinic where the team truly cares about their patients and carefully evaluates each case. On 9/13, I had my tooth extracted, and guess what? The tooth came out completely intact – no fracture as Dr. Coke had suggested. I ended up losing a perfectly good tooth because of her poor treatment. Avoid this clinic if you value your dental health. They don’t care about their patients, only about the money. I suffered for three long years due to their incompetence. 9/26 Updates: Thank you for your response. However, I would like to provide an update regarding my situation after the tooth extraction. Upon pressing the area below the root, I am still experiencing some pain. After further evaluation and an X-ray by my current dentist, I was informed that the root canal material was inserted too deeply, which caused the material to seep into the area beneath the tooth, leading to inflammation. Unfortunately, this material cannot be removed, meaning the failure of the initial treatment has resulted in ongoing inflammation, 3 years of pain, a misaligned bite, and a permanent issue with the material embedded deep in the tooth base. I have attached a picture where the problematic area (the white spot) has been circled in red, clearly showing the material that has seeped in due to the failed treatment. Given these circumstances, I would like to know how you plan to compensate me for the damages and address this issue.

I’m giving my experience four stars simply because of parking. As though expected, being located in midtown; I recommend finding a spot on the street. The meter parking is a few buck cheaper. Aside from that, the facility is nice and I like the ambiance of the entire building. I will say the tech that did my exams was a tad aggressive, but she got the job done. I can’t complain. The dentist spoke to me and was extremely gentle. I try to get names at my next visit. I was nervous because people like to make it seem like Dentist just want to take your money, but I didn’t feel that way at all. I felt well taken care of. They talked me to the process, showed me my X-rays, and showed me exactly why they had the recommendations they did.

My coworker suggested that I visit Dentistry of Midtown after overhearing me lamenting about an unprofessional and impolite dentist who would have required expensive extractions of several of my teeth. I knew I did not need any filling, but I wanted to believe he was right, so I let him do unnecessary filling on one of my teeth. During the procedure, I was terrified because I knew that I did not need any fillings. I had panic attacks during the filling process. Finally, I decided to never go back to him. At Dentistry of Midtown, the professionalism and the welcoming environment start from the front desk staff. When I shared my experience of the former dentist with Dr. Koch, she said she did not understand why some dentists continue drilling when patients ask to stop. A dentist is like a gynecologist, and I have to feel safe before opening my mouth and showing one of the intimate parts of my body. I immediately felt safe when Dr. Koch was examining my teeth. Candice was excellent and had a warm and comforting spirit throughout my treatment, which I needed since I had an unpleasant experience with a previous dental dentist/hygienist. This was the best experience I have ever had at a dental office. I have had bad issues with my teeth all my life and have been to several dentists in my lifetime. This was the only time I have experienced NO PAIN during the extraction or after. Definitely recommend and definitely going back. No other dentists for me except Dentistry for Midtown. Love the ladies that took care of me today.

Booking my first appointment was really easy. I called them after hours, left a voicemail, and they promptly returned my call the next day. Upon arrival, they were right on time. The hygienist who assisted me (I wish I remember her name) was incredibly kind and patient. She took the time to explain each step of the process, which I really appreciated. Unlike my previous experience elsewhere, she was gentle with my teeth and gums, making sure I was comfortable throughout the cleaning. Dr. Mandani was equally kind. She listened to my concerns and explained the recommended treatment plan clearly. After running several scans and x-rays, she provided a comprehensive overview of my oral health. I was referred by a friend, and I'm so glad I listened. I will definitely be returning to address their recommendations and even get braces. Overall, it was a great experience: the staff was kind, the offices were clean, they were punctual, parking was easy, and scheduling future appointments was a breeze. I highly recommend them.

Absolute best visit to a dentist as a new patient ever!! Whole set of x-rays and teeth cleaning by the loveliest dental hygienist, Marsha! The dentist and the front desk team were also 5-star and soooo helpful!!

I’m a really patient guy. But the fact that you make an appointment just to wait for another 2hr is not okay. No, I’m not exaggerating, I’ve been here 3 times. It Defeats the purpose of an appointment. The employee there are nice but their system just doesn’t seem to work well in our favor as patients. Aside from that, even if you are a patient, you still have to pay for parking. They give you voucher but really it’s just a small discount to your parking ticket. Very disappointed.

Dentistry For Midtown is awesome! Let me first start by saying that the office is beautiful and clean. The smiling staff really made me feel comfortable and eased my dental anxiety. I had to get an extraction, which Dr. Mandani did flawlessly and very quickly! I appreciate how Dr. Mandani and her assistants explained everything throughout my whole visit. If you’re looking for a great dentist in the Atlanta/Midtown area, I highly recommend this office!
