Dentist in Louisville (Previously-DentalWorks & Orthodontics Louisville - Cedar Springs) Reviews
I went in there two weeks ago. I didn't realize the place was under new management and my regular dentist no longer worked there. It had been a couple of years since I had been there, so that's on me for not checking. The problem I had with this place is that the dental assistant had no idea how to perform her duties. She was very nice, but when she tried to take the X-ray, she kept harshly jamming the device they used into my mouth. She failed multiple times to take the X-ray and had to call the dentist in to do it. The problem now is that I have severe pain in my mouth from where they did this, and I am now scheduling a visit to another dentist to have this checked out. I will not be going back.
Nov 13, 2024 · James PalUp until the company was taken over, my experience with dental works was great. Dr. Hill is absolutely wonderful. I had came in back in July to do a f/u and discus my retainer situation. Since my mouth had already been scanned back in February to get a more durable retainer, I was told that they would just put the order in with that same scan and that we would schedule an appt when it come in and on the DOS my total would be $233. Which I was okay with paying. (May I remind you, this was well before September when the company was bought out.) So I waited and waited and heard Nothing. After a little over a month I called and called and no one could give me an answer. There is a primary call center that you have to speak to before they will transfer you to the office...and they will do everything not to or tell you that they will notify the office and someone will reach out. I kept being told that someone will call me back or got the runaround. I kept getting statements for a retainer i do not have. So no, I am not going to pay for it. I went in for an appt. On Oct. 28th to talk to Dr. Hill/Assistant. I was reassured by the office manger that I would not be sent to collections due to me not having the retainer.Sure enough, I am now getting "An attempt to collect debt," calls and received a letter for double what the previous statements had stated. This is not OK, and cannot be legal. I will be seeking legal advice as this has gone on long enough.
