I’ve gone to a lot of dentists but by far I had the BEST experience at Dental Wellness. Ive had a gum line cavity in one of my teeth for about 3 years. I went to MULTIPLE other dentists to try and get it fixed. They all ignored my concern about this tooth and were more concerned about fixing small cavities in between some other teeth. I also went to a dentist that told me he was going to fix that tooth and ended up fixing the one next to it without my knowledge so that tooth never got addressed. They all told me it would have to be pulled (I think they just didn’t want to fix it) This caused me to have anxiety about going to the dentist because of all the terrible experiences I’ve had and my concerns never being addressed. I made an appointment with Dental Wellness to hopefully try and find a dentist that would help me. I went in for an appointment today with very high anxiety about having a bad experience but that all changed as soon as I walked in. The receptionists were extremely friendly and they got me in to get my cleaning done super fast (I didn’t have to wait for more than 5 minutes before they took me back as well as the other 5 people in the waiting area with me). Alissa was my dental hygienist and she was one of the main reasons I will be coming back! She made me feel comfortable, she was chatting with me while getting my teeth cleaned instead of just trying to get me out of there like other places have, and she explained EVERYTHING to me! Dr. Bates was my dentist and she is the ultimate reason I will be receiving treatment from them long term. Alissa explained to Dr Bates the teeth I was most concerned about and she explained EVERYTHING in detail to me about what her treatment plan going forward was with those problem teeth. She also told me that the cavity I had in my gum line can be fixed and she was going to do it for me at our next appointment! This is by far the BEST dentist I have ever gone to and I will continue to see them! They made me feel like I was important and not just a paycheck!
