I switched to Dental Professionals from a very expensive Hyde Park dentist which used to be worth it but where costs had gone out of control and there was a revolving door of the good dentists. DP means I have to drive, not walk, and pay for loop parking... but it is totally worth it. I've had two hygienists and they have been gentle, thorough and knowledgeable. Dr. Jacobs is kind and direct. I followed his advice about switching to an electric brush--unlike my old dentist, he didn't try to sell me one--and that seems to be making a big difference in my gums. I finally feel like I have a partner in taking care of my teeth and gums. Not like a cash cow. Everyone I've worked with here--the dentists, the receptionists and the hygienists--are calm, caring and professional.
