Just had a great first appointment at Dental Plus!! Lily did my cleaning and she was the best! She was extremely proficient and informative. The office itself was very clean and welcoming, Dr. Lee was also great! I had a feeling I had cavities and the previous office I was seen at did not see them, Dr.Lee did! Thank you Lily and Dr. Lee and the rest of the staff at Dental Plus ??

I would absolutely NOT recommend this dentist (Dr Joon Lee) to anyone. I am truly puzzled by the well-rated reviews for his practice. I have uncomplicated dental history. Being new in town, I decided to go for a cleaning here trusting Dr Lee as has been running this practice for a while. After scrutinizing my X-ray, he said everything was fine. I told him that I had some discomfort with chewing on one molar tooth, and after he re-scrutinized the X-ray (this should have been a suspicious flag already), Dr Lee told me that I had a very small cavity on the molar tooth, and offered me to get it filled, which I opted to do on the same day. However, I learned later on, I question whether the "cavity" truly needed filling because small cavities can be monitored over time, with use of fluoride toothpaste, which was never presented to me as an option by Dr Lee. The filling was off-colored and I asked whether this filling was done properly to him on next visit. He offered to re-do the filling, which I did, believing that he could do a better replacement, however, there was sharp pain during the re-filling process on the tooth. The tooth became incredibly sensitive and painful afterwards, and Dr Lee's attitude changed drastically as a judgmental dentist because I was reporting my symptoms to him, calling me "sensitive person," "should just wait until the symptoms resolve." The most shocking statement that he told me was, "this it your tooth, not mine, and it was ultimately you who opted to do the filling." [VERBATIM] I work in health care, and I have never, ever, encountered such a condescending provider, especially to a patient who was reporting post-procedural symptoms. I had no knowledge in dental medicine, but this experience made me self-study in basic dental knowledge to avoid fraudulent dental experience and made me very distrustful of dentists. I ended up going to another dentist closer to Boston who ended up replacing the filling that Dr Lee did, with significant resolution of symptoms. This was probably the worst experience that I have ever had, as I had to go through doing x3 fillings within 2 month of time frame, which was a lot of money and stress. Dr Lee, please remember that it is your role as a LICENSED dentist to suggest treatment options, risks and benefits, and take responsibility of post-op complications! There are plenty of dental offices in Massachusetts, so I highly encourage those who are reading this review to explore other options, if you do not want to go through something similar like I had.

Got my regular cleaning done today. Dr. Lee and all staff are very friendly and professional here especially Lily, she does a great job! They are always on point with scheduling and I never had a bad experience in this dental office. I highly recommend Dental Plus, I've been going to this dental office for a while now.

Incompetent people don't know how to fill out an FMLA form, super unpleasant treatment from the front desk people and the incompetent doctor... they just want to charge extra money in other offices the plan covers, but this doctor from Dental Plus charges too much for the poor work he does.
