I am a new patient. I called on Monday in June and asked to see if they accepted my insurance and new patients. They said yes and I got an appointment for the next day for an exam and xrays. I then saw the dentist and he recommended three teeth to be extracted and then a cleaning. Well let's skip ahead four weeks and I have already had the three teeth removed and my cleaning is scheduled for next week. I am amazed at how quickly and efficiently this business works. From the two receptionists to the X-ray lady to the dentist to the oral surgeon, I must admit that they are definitely an organized dental office. They are also very friendly which is a nice side effect. Even when the girl calls to confirm my next appointment she is a pleasure to talk to. I give five stars to everyone that works here. Thank you for taking care of my teeth.
If zero stars was an option I would rate this place that. Went through the painful experience of having a root canal done with this place just for over a year later to have my tooth re-infected again because they failed to place the permanent crown on properly leaving a gap causing the infection to come back. Went back to have it resolved to end up getting referred to their specialist and having to call them back after not hearing from them for four weeks with an update from the specialist. Even worst my tooth got infected so bad I was in extreme pain and I called expressing this for them to tell me theirs nothing they can do. The earliest appointment is in 2 weeks. Ridiculous. Check with your insurance and find a different dental office. I rarely post reviews but I don’t want anyone else to go through the same experience I did. And let’s not forget how hard it is to reach someone on the phone! Please find another dental office because this place is HORRIBLE! You will save yourself a lot of pain and stress by doing so.
I simply should’ve left the first time I walked in and saw 2 older ladies arguing and asking for help about wrongly handled situations. I honestly did not feel comfortable with the place since it had so many bad reviews but never thought anything weird would happen to me , I was just worried about my daughter’s teeth getting extracted. About 2 weeks ago surgeon Baron Elliot saw my child for a consultation. Me and my children go to a whole different family dentist in another location. That day I left without making an appointment for the extraction because I had a few extra questions I wanted to ask my dentist before we proceeded. About a week later I called back to continue where we left off so that we can proceed with the extraction only to find out Dr Baron Elliot refused my child who was in pain service . I was very shocked and confused as to why since we were literally there 2 weeks prior. According to him, he needed a whole new prescription from a whole different dentist because he wanted me to get a second opinion. Now I’m not sure if I’m crazy, but is this man telling me I have to leave the comfort of my dentist whom I’ve been going to for years simply because he desires to have a different sheet mentioning the same exact teeth we spoke about 2 weeks prior?. I cried all day because to me that was very very strange since it is my decision as the parent and the adult to decide if I want to leave my family dentist or not, not his . Very inappropriate and unprofessional. Now correct me if I’m wrong, he charged my insurance for the consultation fee, he wants me to have another consultation and come back and act as if I’m a whole different patient and charge for another consultation in regards the same exact teeth? It makes no sense. I’ve never dealt with something so bizarre in my life. Makes no sense at all that he couldn’t simply bring her inside and continue where we left off. What is the purpose of this doctor trying to force me to go to a different dentist even insisting to change to their location. To me this is called over stepping. He has no right or power at all to make such decisions overpowering what a mother wants to do for her child. We left without treatment because he refused to see my child whom he saw 2 weeks prior. Front ladies are nice. The blonde one in particular talks too much without giving you a chance to talk back and made things up that I never heard or mentioned before. I can’t wait to find out the real reason he denied my child service .
My experience was incredible. Tasha and Shaliah were so professional and courteous. They, along with Dr. Proua wwnt above and beyond to help my 81 year old mom feel comfortable and understand her options and what needed to be done. I have never had a better dental experience. The three of them should be applauded for their customer service alone. You have a winning team!!!!
Worst office period. I took my son there for an appointment. I made the appointment for 4:15. When they called and confirmed they moved it to 4:00. After getting there early, I wasn't seen till 5pm. No apologies or an explanation, just deflection as to why I wasn't seen on time. An example of they are cleaning your chair... cleaning it for 20 minutes.
Initially made an appointment for 4:15 for my 2 year olds first pediatric dentist appointment. When they called to confirm the day before they told me it was for 4pm. I arrived at 3:55 and wasn’t taken in until 4:45. At 4:30 I asked for an update and the receptionist said they were just cleaning the chair (which apparently took 15 minutes?) Completely unacceptable. I don’t even think the doctor apologized for the wait. When walking through the dentist office, many employees were seen just scrolling through their phones. Absolutely will never come back here.
Wife got an infection after a root canal & crown 8 months later . They tossed her to the curb by giving us a script for a endodontist that no other practice wants to touch. They never even offered to use one of their specialists cause they’re probably so overwhelmed with the cases from this place. Run away and far away from this practice
