I had a wonderful experience at Dr.Donns office today. My dental hygienist Donna was an absolute dream. She had such great energy and help put my mind at ease. I am always very nervous at dentist appointments but Donna’s amazing personality kept me going . She was so warm and gave me such great information. She told me everything that she was doing while she was doing it . Most importantly she told me the WHY. I finally have some better knowledge of what’s going on and how to prevent certain things from happening . When Dr. Donn came in he was just as pleasant as always and and explained to me what the next steps were in my treatment and why it’s important . The receptionist were every kind , helped my schedule my next visits and gave me estimates of the out of pocket cost my next visit would be. Anyone who needs a dentist, this is the place to be !

I'm writing this because to me it's not fair!! The dentist gave me a price, he prepared my front teeth, he lowered them in order to put in the temporary bridge, but he lowered them too much and it hit the nerve of my tooth. The next day, which was Friday, they were closed for the entire weekend, I was in really, really bad pain! I called and called for them to give me medication and they never ever called me. I was in intense pain for like 3 days and then an infection came in my root canal, but I didn't have any infection. It was after the dentist worked on my teeth and he reached the nerve, and all this resulted in me paying a lot more money through no fault of my own!! I felt that when he prepared my teeth he did it too quickly and I think that's why he lowered my tooth a lot and after a few days of using my temporary bridge it got infected!! and that's why I'm so frustrated about the extra charge, I liked the job, it's not bad!!! another thing about the secretary, for me, I felt racism from her from the moment she looked at me, there are two men in front, the one with glasses is cool but the other woman has an attitude like that towards me, you can tell by the way she talks to me and by her cold face, the receptionists have to be warmer and more friendly, well, what I'm writing this for is the extra charge

Dr. Donn and his assistant Stephanie were guardian angels for us, going above and beyond for our family, through our son's dental emergency over the weekend. Outside of business hours Stephanie called me back right away and Dr. Donn was willing to see our son within a few hours. Our son is younger than patients Dr. Donn usually sees and he was still willing to see us on a Sunday to help my son. We are so grateful for you both as professionals and as humans. Thank you for helping us during a tramatic time.

People will say he's fast, but he is not efficient. I had an abscess under a root canal and crown, he removed the tooth and stated I would need a bridge. He also stated that there was a cavity in the tooth next to it. When I went back to start the bridge work, I asked if he was going to address the cavity first since it would be covered by the bridge work. I was informed there was not a cavity, but I interjected and told him that he said so himself during the previous visit. He did not treat the cavity! Then after the bridge work, which he did not do himself, I had to go back because my gum line became swollen and started to bleed in that area. I do remember that he had some words with the female that did do the bridge work. I remember him saying that she missed a spot and there was a hole, which exposed something. I wish I would have asked or pursued that heated exchange. I was eventually given a syringe and told to treat the area with warm salt water. Well, after two other dentist's opinions - there IS a cavity and the tooth needs to be pulled now, the bridge work is subpar, and it is above a fracture line. The two cavities I have, he never saw in the x-rays? And now I have to have the bridge work redone because it wasn't done properly. Also, not the most friendly of staff either when checking in or scheduling. When I had told them I was seeing another dentist, a $71.40 balance forward bill started coming to my house. Mind you, I paid everything via credit card upfront. SO, I am confused as to where this balance came from since there are no other details on the bill just - balance forward. From whom, from where? After all, I do have dental insurance and paid the 60% I was responsible for.
