Comprehensive Dental Group

I'm not very happy with this dental practice. They informed me that they accepted my insurance, Delta Dental, but failed to disclose that the costs of fillings and composites I needed would need to be paid mostly out of pocket by me. I found out after-the-fact from my insurance that this is because they are not part of the New York's Delta Dental PPO or preferred-provider option program . Again, that should have been disclosed when I asked about them taking my dental plan.

Great experience. The staff were extremely kind and helpful while scheduling the appointment and filling out the paperwork. The day of our appointment we were seen right on time. My almost two year old was seen by Dr. Simon and he was very patient and kind toward her. He and the staff really made her feel at ease and she didn't fuss at all throughout the exam. We will definitely return for future care and recommend this practice to others.

My visit was fine: I met my new hygienist as well as a dentist I had not known. The hygienist seemed to do an excellent job, and was thoughtful and lovely. The dentist reassured me and was also likable and professional. I feel very secure in this practice.

Dr. Berman is truly the best! I was very comfortable and confident with his examination and got exceptional care. Not only was Dr. Berman thorough, he was courteous and explained everything in language I could understand. Dr. Berman was truly concerned about my health and well-being. This experience was pleasant and painless. Dr. Berman cared for my issue and followed up to make sure I was OK. I must mention in addition to the wonderful care, the cleaning really brightened my smile

I would like to share my experience at Comprehensive Dental Group . Never have I experienced such a wonderful and friendly staff. When ever I call or have a problem it’s quickly addressed and taken care of in the most professional manner. Always with a smile. I would also like to thank DMD, Ira Berman for your professionalism, compassion and kindness. I couldn’t be more happy. I’ve tried many dentists and no one compares to your team. That’s why I travel an hour and a half from Staten Island to your office in Larchmont. It’s well worth the trip! Thanks again, Mike.
