My referring dentist got me a next day appointment for a root canal with Commonwealth. They were caring and efficient from the first phone call. My doctor was extremely skilled, kept me fully briefed on my diagnosis and the procedure he performed. There was almost no pain. In my view, completely successful. It was a little over an hour drive for me, but worth every minute of the time spent. They made it possible for me to leave on a two week trip the next day.

Dr. Martinez, Kelly and the entire staff, from the front desk and beyond, gave me a great experience. When I walked in, reception treated me like they were thoughtfully waiting for me. Once I was called back Kelly and Dr. Martinez let me know what they were going to do, how I should expect to feel with every step and checked in with me along the way. He studied my chart and asked, with my back problems, if I was comfortable! Craziness! I was given before and after x-rays to confirm nothing changed before he started and to review his work and discuss what was found, what he did and what I need to do going forward. The symmetry between Dr. Martinez and Kelly required minimal verbal direction. She guided instruments, rinsed and angled like a ballet. I don't wish for anyone's teeth, gums or roots to deteriorate or suffer trauma but if they do, Dr. Martinez and his team are where you need to be. He's honest, thorough, empathetic and sharing. Thank you for not triggering my anxiety and just knowing what to expect from your patients to ease their fear of having a root canal. I highly recommend CW and especially Dr. Martinez.

Dr. Martinez saves teeth!!! He is extremely confident, respectful, professional, kind, and clearly explains condition and treatment. He’s on time and his staff is caring and professional. He saved two of my teeth over the past year, one of which was likely to fail and require an implant (A front tooth!). He referred me to an oral surgeon for a procedure that may have saved the tooth, but the specialist declined and recommended removal of tooth with implant. At my request, Dr. Martinez attempted a challenging root canal therapy with understanding that the tooth was at high risk for failure. The procedure worked.!! If it is possible, Dr. Martinez will save your tooth

Commonwealth Endodontist’s accommodated my scheduling needs in 1 Day (Amazing Service). The staff was Fabulous ( I went to the 3107 Hungary Spring Rd ) Location on the West End. My Dr was Amber Ather. He was Superfantastic. (I’m certain all the Physicians know their stuff) however for me what was especially comforting was Dr Ather’s attention to detail - meaning how clearly he reviewed my intended procedure before we got started. He made me feel that this decision for the Root Canal was absolutely the correct course of action and had a terrific demeanor in explaining things in lay persons terms. The entire process was as terrific as you can get when looking forward to a Root Canal. I would not hesitate using the practice and especially Dr Ather should I need these services again

The entire staff was friendly and made every effort to make my visit as comfortable as possible. Dr. Martinez was wonderful. He explained everything he was going to do beforehand and during the procedure. I was amazed at how skillfully he injected the Novocain. I felt very little pain. The nurse assisting him, Stacy, was also very attentive to my comfort and brought me a blanket to keep me warm. After the procedure, Dr. Martinez explained the next steps of the treatment and what I should do over the next few days to manage any pain following the procedure. I am confident that once everything has been done my tooth will be healthy and I will not experience any more pain.
