I recently moved and finding a good dentist is always one of the hardest things you can do. Somebody recommended Dr. Mercer so I thought I would try him out. He was very professional, has great knowledge and made me feel very comfortable. Everything went so well with Dr. Mercer and the entire staff. I highly recommend Dr. Mercer to anybody looking for a dentist.

Horrible horrible experience. Of course they treat you nice in the beginning to get your service. Once you are an established patient the drs piss on you! DO NOT COME HERE. Dr Moorhead is a worthless Dr that cannot take criticism, he automatically ASSumes you’re being “combative”. Over all bad experience from beginning till now. My mouth is full of soars from dentures not fitting well. They told me to come in to see about getting a whole new set done, being I was never asked or even spoken about what color I wanted, again they ASSumed what color I wanted. In that case I would’ve kept my original teeth. A total nightmare. Please rethink about coming here

It’s was an amazing experience and I’m so happy how my teeth look now! Dr Mercer and Julia completely made my teeth and smile look amazing. I had a erosion that was making my teeth chip and decay so I was getting very self conscious about it, I called Dr Mercer for advice and he quickly set me up with a consultation and that same day we got it all fixed with the help of Julia, she was amazing! The staff was extremely friendly and the building was clean and had a great feel to it! 100% recommend to anyone

Not only did they claim to lose my x-rays when I tried to seek a second opinion after I didn’t feel comfortable proceeding with treatment due to lack of transparency in their practices, they flat out lied to me about my health. I went to another dentist today and told them Comfort Dental had told me I had 4 cavities (I have had a total of 1 filling in my entire life so this was a red flag), only to find out that I in fact have 0 cavities. Additionally, I had called to schedule a prophylaxis cleaning which they said was no problem. I waited about 2 hours for my appointment only to have x-rays and an exam, no cleaning, before they asked me to leave and schedule another appointment. The staff member who works at the front desk is also disrespectful; when I called to request the x-rays, she told me she hoped I “had a good experience at my new dentist” and hung up on me after I expressed disbelief and frustration at the fact they had supposedly lost the x-rays, which I only have one set covered through insurance a year. Find a family dentist or at least go somewhere else.

I can’t say enough good things about this office and their staff! I’ve been to this location and seen Dr. Todd twice. During the first appointment, he instantly made me feel comfortable, which is very difficult, as I have a pretty big fear of going to the dentist. I usually need laughing gas for simple teeth cleaning, but for the first visit I felt so comfortable, it wasn’t needed at, even for a filling! I had the exact same experience today when I had more dental work done. Everyone in the office is friendly and welcoming! Dr. Todd personally reached out to me after both appointments to see how I was feeling and making sure I wasn’t in any pain or discomfort.

Wonderful experience at Comfort Dental West Mesa! The staff was kind and respectful to my needs. I felt comfortable to communicate areas of discomfort and they were mindful of those areas when working on me. Dr Mercer was especially educated on my problems and provided me with multiple treatment options that worked with in my budget.

Anyone with a positive review to this establishment is staged. I got my wisdom teeth pulled on a first appointment. The dr couldn’t get them out very easily and kept smacking my other teeth with pliers. The recovery process was longer than it should have been and I went through a year of light headed dizziness. I thought for a year I had some sort of serious illness because of the lasting effects of his poor operation. Then my husband had a year of getting all his teeth pulled, failed implants, and maltreatment. He went to get his denture fitted on failed implants and they got the denture stuck to his already failed implants and the dr had his assistant yank at his implants for 3 hours straight before they called the dr in to yank on them as well and thought it a good idea to drill the denture off and sent him home with sores around his implants, and he was in excruciating pain. Then gave him a denture with drill holes through it to wear. My husband sought help through a new dental surgeon and they said they get a lot of comfort dental patients who have been maltreated. These people are frauds who think if you go to their office you must be some moron with no voice. They have unqualified assistants who seem to be on their phones in the break room most of the time. You’ll be waiting in your chair for someone to come help you and you just see these seemingly 20 year old girls walking around on their phones. They are ages behind dental technology. I pray that they realize they are hurting people and are unqualified to run this business.
