Comfort Dental Raytown

I hate the dentist but coming here isn't so bad. My regular dentist is the female and she's put for maternity leave so I was scared to have someone new but the new dentist did a phenomenal job on matching my filing color and smoothing out first time through. Always a quick wait and clean seats. People have always been nice to me. I've seen both black providers and have had no issues. Have been here a handful of times and will return

Don't go here if you need a cheap or compassionate dentist. People with money can disregard this review I imagine. The dentist treating me is probably nicer to more financially secure patients. I came for the 19 dollar first visit special advertised and she seemed annoyed to have to treat me. when she told me that I needed 400 to extract two teeth, I teared up in pain and frustration. I'm like, what am I supposed to do if I don't make enough to afford that? She had said if I don't get it done then the abscess might explode and I was scared to death. She seemed offended at the thought cheaper dental work might be available because she was adamant that they were the cheapest dentist anywhere. They most def are not, she should have suggested compass dental since they have a sliding scale based on your pay. Plus, the dentist I saw at compass treated me like a human. What a concept.

The entire staff was kind and efficient. I overheard them mention they were understaffed but it certainly didn't show in their level of patient care. The dentist was thorough and provided me with every option available for my needs along with a breakdown of today's costs and the costs of my next visit. The time and effort they put into my visit is appreciated and I look forward to making this office mine and my family's dental home.

Dr. Johnson was very patient and answered all of my questions… Even the ridiculous ones. The hygienist that did my cleaning did a very good job. He was thorough and gentle. My teeth feel very clean.

Long wait in the waiting room and in the back. I came to this location because it said they do wisdom tooth removal. They didn’t remove any wisdom teeth they referred me out like everywhere else. I have a really bad cavity I needed removed also and due to the numbing not numbing the correct area I left with it still in my mouth. Not to mention the numbing was extremely painful itself. The experience I had here was horrible compared to the Comfort Dental in Midtown. So sorry but I won’t be returning. I’m thankful for the extraction she did do but service could’ve been better.
