My husband had to get a wisdom tooth removed before we got it pulled we talked to the doctor and notified my husband sometimes passes out. We got lucky and Dr. Steven Hilmi took the time to talk to my husband and allowed him to watch a video to keep his mind busy . We were able to get through the appointment and the tooth out before my husband passed out. Dr. Steven Hilmi and his assistant that helped him the whole time were quick to give me a hand with my husband they are the most respectful and helpful dental office I went to! Thank you so much

I went to the dentist thinking finally I found a dentist office that actually care about people I needed an extraction done while I got that done. She made me a dental plan. Great come to find out. I needed a deep cleaning me not knowing what a deep cleaning really is, I go in she tells me I’m doing your cleaning and you have fillings that need to be done. OK cool we get to the part of the fillings And she asked me did you want to do the fillings so right then I should’ve known that I didn’t need to do the fillings done and I’m thinking I never really liked my silver in my mouth so I’m thinking like OK so you can do white fillings I was new to that and she’s like yeah yeah And who doesn’t want that for aesthetic reason I wish she would’ve been more in depth about fillings and how they work in whether or not it’s worth doing it for aesthetic reasons and for health reasons I wish I would’ve never gotten my fillings done because there was nothing wrong with my silver filling at all and ever since I’ve gotten this fillings done it’s costing me nothing but problems I went back and I expressed that this tooth was causing me problems She was very defensive gaslighting . What if she did make a mistake for legal reason she didn’t wanna admit it but don’t gaslight my pain so she said well maybe it’s your bite. She fixed my bite if was off. Come to find out when she looked. One was higher than the other so still once again, something was wrong, even though she tried to gaslight me, but she tried to blame it on my gum disease And I’m like when you did the filling it hurt but come to find out when I did more research, a filling really shouldn’t hurt. I mean you may be in discomfort but not really like hurt hurt hurt all in all that lady blonde hair lady you are wrong for what you did to my tooth and when I came to you about it you You should’ve said. I’m sorry that you’re in pain, but we’re gonna figure this out instead you trying to put blame on me And that’s not right because I didn’t have no problem with this tooth until you did my filling for years this tooth has been fine now all of a sudden I’m having issues with this tooth and I do not trust you so I will not be going back to this place and I hate that you put me in this position because most dentist don’t like to work on other dentist mess up.

Usually, I feel scared when visiting the dentist due to past experiences. However, Dr. Stephanie is an AMAZING and knowledgeable dentist. She made me feel comfortable and welcomed during my visit. She has a sweet personality and made the process of my visit very easy.

I've been going to Dr Bruce for a while now and have always felt comfortable going until my last visit in April. I'm slowly trying to get my teeth fixed and this last time when I went the blonde assistant just harped on my teeth and belittled me the whole time, telling me I need to brush my teeth and floss everyday when I do. The treatment I received from her is why alot of people avoid going to the dentist. I will never go back here after that. Then they wanna charge my insurance for smoking and drinking counseling! I don't smoke or drink and they just gave me a paper about smoking and drinking. I will not be back I will keep searching until I find an office that can actually respect the patients. The wait time is terrible too. Expect to be sitting a good 30 to and hour after your appointment time.

#1 tip - confirm ur DR is in network before sitting down. We were told we have great insurance and everything is covered. I've just learned that Insurance Co.s have contracts with DRs not offices. A DR may be out of network (expired contract) and not know it. In which case the insurance CO will deny ur claim. Our dentist's insurance contract expired 5 weeks before he worked on us. We had to foot the bill. This has to do with Gentle Dental "GD" corporate policy. GD corp does not track the insurance contract expiration dates for their DRs. They instead hope the insurance people inform them of expired network contracts. This creates a multi-week/month gap between date when DRs fall out of contract and they reapply. The patient is stuck in the middle having to cover the denied claim amount. In this area of computer apps. It is a 2/3 button click to track expiration dates and make notifications faster. I gave 4 stars and hope this evaluation is forwarded to GD corp. As for the office site, I found the people friendly, the office clean, and cash charges reasonable. Cudos to staff for gently explaining why I have to pay unplanned dental bill. Wife believes we should find another dentist as a way of showing our discontent with Gentle Dental.
