Dec 06, 2024 · Valerie LawrenceThey always give my son a hard time for missing appointments and it's making it so he hates going in. He had an emergency happen the day before his last appointment where he went DKA and ended up in the ICU at children's and left with a life changing diagnosis of type 1 diabetes. I asked the receptionist to make sure no one give him crap about missing and having this gap between visits. But yet again someone did. I don't understand why.
