Clarksville Family Dentistry

I went to Clarksville Family Dental a cpl days ago. They were very kind, nice, and polite. I'm terrified of the dentist. I have had too many bad experiences. But Dr. C.G. Jung was really nice. He explained everything thoroughly so that I could understand what he's doing and why he's doing it. I strongly recommend Clarksville Family Dental.

I had a broken tooth. New to area and needed a new dentist. 1st visit - 2 hour wait just to be told to come back. Returned and got a crown. 3rd visit - Went for a cleaning and they were very thorough with the oral exam but they didn’t have time to complete the cleaning. Had to go back to have it done about 6 weeks later. 4th visit - went in and the receptionist said I got you then I proceeded to wait 35 minutes in lobby (no one else was waiting to see dentist) While I was waiting in the lobby the receptionist called me wondering where I was??? When I got into the chair the hygienist was way too rough for my liking and seemed rushed. I don’t have to deal with POOR time management or attitude. Dr. Jung seems very knowledgeable & pleasant enough. Cleanliness of office 2 out of 5 and could use some updating. I had read reviews before I went to this dental office and most were very positive. “Put your money where your mouth is….” Not exactly true in my opinion for this office. Later.

I was belittled and compared to a four year old because of my anxiety and fear where the dentist is concerned. Everytime, through experience, I'm assured of intense pain and disagreements with the dentist. I lost my preferred dentist due to insurance and ended up here not long ago. The completed work done on my teeth is exemplary however I'm not sure it's worth the costs incurred. It took me three hours to calm down and stop shaking and crying after my last appointment. The dentist is very knowledgeable and good at his work and is also a bully with no bed side manners or patience. Last thought; be ready to wait and wait and wait.

Dr. Jung and his staff are friendly, compassionate, and you can tell that they really enjoy what they do, as well as each other. I live in LA now and come every year for Derby. I do my best to make an appointment because the staff is so great!! Tyra has one of the sweetest, most nurturing voices ever and I just love the fact that she is there!! I hear how she interacts with patients and it’s very natural and genuine. Thank You Team Jung ??

The staff and the Doctor here are absolutely amazing! They will work with you to find solutions for all your dental problems and needs…. Very knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. Thanks
