City Dental

Pleasant enough experience. They have a lobby stocked with drinks/snacks which doesn’t make too much sense to me. I’ve had good experience with all hygienists after 4-5 visits. The billing person seems like she needs a teaspoon of sugar tho. Super annoying that you cannot walk into the lobby and you must announce your name into the hallway microphone before they unlock the door, after which you can approach the receptionist. (Which could be after a few moments if they are fielding a phone call). Seems like a COVID practice that is more unfriendly than its value these days. I appreciate the straight talk from the dentists. I’ve met 3 of the 4 on staff since I started going there.

I’ve been a patient at City Dental for 10 years. I’ve always received excellent care. I had neglected my dental care visits for several years - Samantha Sweet and Dr. Bajuscak and the front office staff treated me with patience and kindness as a new patient needing extra care addressing problems related to my teeth and gums. The location was perfect when I worked 5 blocks away in downtown Portland - it’s been worth the drive from home and finding parking after I retired.

I love this dental office! Great workmanship. Fantastic staff. Had an unfortunate interaction with the front desk but the office manager apologized when I returned a month later. In my book, how issues are handled says a lot more about a dentist than absolute perfection.

Having moved back downtown, I was searching for a reputable dentist who I could see for my annual visits. Dr. Bajuscak was referenced in a recent copy of Portland Monthly, edition covering best dentist. I made an appointment and was very pleased with my experience. The front desk staff was friendly, I loved my hygienist, as I was able to get a cleaning-in following my new patient evaluation. In meeting Dr. Bajuscak, I found him charming, conscientious and considerate in my new patient evaluation, and was in sync with his proposed future treatment plan. Being my first visit I was impressed and look forward to my future visits.

First time patient. Had to have two back molars evaluated & decided to have them extracted.The staff was great! Sara was so helpful & Dr Tsao was great. They made sure that I knew what to expect after the extractions. Top marks for City Dental in my book.

So, I have been a patient at City Dental for several years and I’ve consistently received excellent care. Hygienist Sammi and Dr. Bajuscak literally saved my life!!!! There are no words to express the breadth of my gratitude. The front office staff has always treated me with patience and kindness ~ Reenie is the best! From start to finish each visit is top notch. Could not recommend them more. I had an emergency dental issue and contacted them at 7pm. Promptly heard back within an hour and had an appointment the next day. Waited all of two minutes before I was promptly seen. Staff were lovely and very considerate. Entire issue was taken care of immediately and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.
