Turns out it's per quadrant, so the total is actually $2400!! My second visit in September, I went back for my routine cleaning, and to make a deal that I would like to pay for the services that was covered but I owe co-pay. After some negotiation we reached an agreement for the entire bill of the first visit. But I checked my insurance and see that the office submitted pre-authorization to my insurance for crown filling, which I absolutely did not ask for. Then dentist comes in, spent 5 minutes on my cleaning, pretty rough handed, and left. Did a terrible job, I can still feel the few surfaces he missed. Misquoting prices and selling extra services are deceiving business malpractices, add the dismissive/passive-aggressive cleaning from the dentist - I'm never coming back." Wish I had inquired about the price in advance, as I’m used to paying $70-100 for this service.
