My son was always fearful of going to the dentist and couldn’t sit or tolerate an appointment for more than a few minutes. We’ve been to other offices where I’ve had to sit him on my lap and almost restrain him to help the staff so that they could clean his teeth.Children’s Dentistry of Stratford has a desensitization program where you go in every 3 months in between your 6 month cleaning visits. During the desensitization visits, our hygienist Lindsay meets with my son and lets him play and check out all the dentist tools. These visits have been crucial in desensitizing (literally what it’s meant to do!) to everything in the dentist office. My son now sits in the chair by himself, and willingly opens his mouth for Lindsay. This is a great program for parents with children with special needs.We are so grateful for Lindsay’s care, patience, kindness and expertise. She has the most gentle approach and made every visit fun. She met him where he was and didn’t push him outside his comfort zone which only just made him more comfortable with her. She has a true gift in connecting with little kids which eased my own anxiousness as a parent. We highly recommend Lindsay and this practice!

The team at Children’s Dentistry of Stratford consistently demonstrates outstanding professionalism. My husband and I have been bringing our two children here for years, and they genuinely enjoy each visit. The dentist is calm and comforting, and having cartoons on the screen helps ease my son’s nerves. Mrs. Lindsey, the hygienist, is exceptional and always knows how to make the kids feel at ease. The prizes at the end are a big hit too. Highly recommend!

This place is fantastic!!! Similarly to Children's Dentistry of Trumbull, they quickly cleaned my kids teeth in about half an hour. Once you enter, you're struck with a welcoming front desk as well as toys and other things to calm my children down. I would recommend anyone who needs a pediatric dentist to come to children's dentistry of stratford.
