Dr. S and the team have been absolutely amazing over the past two years our kiddos! Kind, caring, knowledgeable, and always had great “beside manner” keeping us informed every step of the way. Sadly, we had to switch providers due to a relocation, but can’t speak highly enough of this team. Our new dentist even commented on the incredible restorative work done by Dr. S and said he wanted to reach out to learn about one of the techniques he used! Can’t recommend them enough for your kiddos!

Lady at reception was incredibly unprofessional and argumentative. Which is unfortunate because my daughter did like going there but after being hung up on while asking questions we will never be back! Tried calling back only for it to go straight to voicemail. Completely uncalled for. 2 stars bcuz the dentist was nice. But when I ask if I’m all paid up and you tell me I am then come to find out you had old ins info (even when I asked both visits) and I have a bill sent to collections ya I’m going to be confused. Learn some people skills lady or go work in a basement telemarketing center where that attitude belongs. Receptionist with a holier then thou complex.

The new facility is lovely! Very neat and clean and in the waiting room they even have children's books all related to teeth! The dentist is very friendly and kind. Booking appts. is made easy and not too far out. They're very personable.

We had a great first visit with Children’s Dentistry of Maine! Dr. S and his staff are all so friendly and welcoming. I was nervous to bring my three year old to a dentist because he is shy and very wary of new people. He met with Cassie for his appointment and she was awesome! She was so kind and patient. She made my son feel comfortable and now I think he’ll be excited to go back for his next visit!

Our first appointment in the past was amazing. Maybe they got new people in reception? They told me that all my kids can’t be seen due to no call no show, when I can tell you that was not the case. I am in the process of retrieving all communication with them to prove so. My daughter had Covid and the receptionist told me not to come there with her, this was a bit back, then scheduled her again during her quarantine, which obviously she didn’t go to? My son is autistic and we can not always go through with appointments. This was communicated with them from the very beginning. The dentist is hard for him as he had a traumatic experience before, somewhere else. They said this was ok, as long as communication stayed current. I have emailed, called, and texted a number, every time he could not make it. So how does that mean a no call, no show? I called today to get my son set up, he had a tooth that is cracked and causing him pain. They won’t see him no matter the severity. She said “nope go somewhere else” I asked for an explanation, and she couldn’t give one besides no call no show being documented. They have neglected caring for my son. And for what reason? Because he’s autistic? I am printing out all forms of communication and action will be taken. It is not ok to lie about no call no shows when dentists are hard to come by. Absolutely ignorant.
