I had extensive dental work done by Dr Hanna in January/February 2024. A bonegraft and several pulled teeth. I also had dentures made. I just want to say, it's the end of July and I LOVE my smile and my gums are in great condition. Thank you, Dr Hanna!!! ?

This place is a SCAM! I hate to write a 10-page scathing review, but this place deserves it. I just want anyone else looking for a new dentist to be warned. DONT COME HERE! Initially, I liked this dentist because it was easy to make an appointment as a new client, the location is clean, and the staff were friendly. I went in with a complaint of tooth pain and was given an oral exam and a whole slew of intake X-rays. It was found that I needed a root canal in one of my teeth, and (hooray!) this office actually has an in house dentist who only does root canals. We scheduled my root canal for a few weeks later, and on the way out of my appointment, I was told by John at the front desk that “my insurance usually doesn’t cover root canals” and he asked if I wanted to pay the $900 bill ahead of time. Uh? No? I declined (because I know my insurance covers root canals) and told him to bill my insurance. A few weeks later I get my root canal done. I’m asked AGAIN to just pay the bill upfront since they believe my insurance will deny. I deny again and tell them to just bill my insurance. Three days later I have an “outstanding bill” posted to my online account showing that I failed to pay my root canal bill. There’s also a separate $200 charge on the bill for “the filling that goes in a root canal tooth”. As if you would ever pay for a root canal procedure and not get it filled?? I call John and ask what’s going on and ask if my insurance was denied. He says yes. So I call my insurance - they say they haven’t even been BILLED for any sort of procedure from my dentist. My insurance also informs me that I’m not allowed to be charged separately for things that fall within the guidelines of a root canal procedure - i.e. filling the tooth after you drill it. I call John back, and he acts surprised that somehow my insurance didn’t receive the bill. I ask him to take the extra $200 charge off the bill since that will probably cause the insurance company to deny the claim, and he says they won’t. Then he says he’ll call my insurance and get it all figured out. A week later I receive a paper bill in the mail for my “outstanding bill”. At this point, I can see that my insurance did in fact put a hold on payment. I call my insurance and they say they haven’t paid yet because they asked the dentist office to provide my X-rays that proved I needed a root canal, and they haven’t heard back from the dentist. So I call good old John again. I ask him why I keep receiving bills and why they haven’t responded to my insurance. His response? “Well what am I supposed to do? I don’t know what they’re want from me.” THE XRAYS JOHN! THEY WANT THE XRAYS. Mind you, John works in billing. He’s done this before. He’s not a mindless front desk worker who just answers phones. Plus my insurance sent multiple letters explaining exactly what they needed to move forward with payment. A week later, I call my insurance AGAIN. They say the dentist office NEVER got back to them despite calling 3 times. Every time they called, John was conveniently away from his desk and unreachable. The insurance company informs me (and sends me a written letter confirming) that the dentist office legally isn’t allowed to charge me more than my copay, and that the rest of the bill isn’t my responsibility since it was basically full of bs add-ons to rack up the bill. They also send a letter explaining all of this to the dentist. I thought all was dealt with since I didn’t hear from them again for 5 months. Throughout this entire process, I repeatedly told John that I did not want this bill ending up with collections simply because they refused to work with my insurance. Well guess what just arrived in the mail? A collections letter for a $700 root canal bill. This place refuses to work with insurance, will add on extra charges that they think you won’t notice, and they obviously hope you’ll give up & just pay a bill that’s almost 5 times what you actually owe. Save yourself the headache (and the drop in credit score from a collections investigation) and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Dr. Joseph Hannah is a wonderful. He is a terrific dentist with an exceptionally pleasant personality. Couldn't recommend him more highly. He know ls how to make what can usually be a potentially stressful experience, into a calm, stressless, painless experience, and with perfect results. The facilities here are also exceptional, as they have the machinery to make crowns and on-lays right there, during your visit, which is another incredible advantage. Highly recommended!

No so great staff and work! They only aggravated more the problem that I have, they even say they do to everything they can to help you with your dental care, first appointments everything fine they try to do everything to convince you to choose them as your primary dentist care but the reality is other and the worst part is that every treatment they offer are really expensive, I don’t recommend this place to anyone!

A year later and I still curse this place for the damage they caused. Unkindness and gluttony are a choice. Choosing a fair and professional place to have services rendered is a basic need. Choose better. They mutilated my jaw and caused nerve damage. Leaving me no choice but to have a gap for life. I am sadded every day about experience here.
