Nov 04, 2024 · Jessica DavisOn November 20, my fiancée traveled from Putnam County to this dental location but was delayed due to traffic, arriving six minutes late for her scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, the office denied her care based on a policy they refer to as the "5-minute rule." I attempted to address the situation by politely asking to speak with the doctor. However, I was informed and I quote “that will not be happening” followed with a chuckle. Quite disappointing! Additionally, I was given conflicting information regarding the doctor's availability—first being told he was with a patient and later that he had already left for the day. Due to the circumstances, I was unable to express my concerns directly. My fiancée took time off from work, and I too had to adjust my schedule to care for our child, only to be turned away for reasons beyond our control. This experience has left me feeling frustrated, and I encourage others seeking dental services to consider alternative options. It is essential for healthcare providers to demonstrate understanding and consideration for their patients' circumstances.Thank you for our lost time and money Charleston Dental Associates… excellent “care”.
