Century Smile Dental

Easiest 5 star review of my life! Dr Talaie and the staff are so nice and they do excellent work. The office is super clean and welcoming, they even offer little refreshments in the lobby! One of the best dentists I've ever had easily, cannot recommend enough!

My experience may have been a rare one, but thought it was worth honestly reporting: - Booked a new patient appointment for a cleaning/exam, but when I arrived I learned the dentist was not going to be in that day? - The hygienist does my cleaning, recommends an expensive sealant and deep cleaning (never recommended before, had just had a dentist appt 5 months prior) - They say I can get my exam by the dentist when I come back for the deep cleaning, which presumes that they were going to have me come back regardless? - When I asked for the flouride treatment covered by my insurance (always provided in the past), they said it would not be covered, that it is only available for children, etc. When I insisted they check on the way out, they saw that yes, in fact my insurance does cover it, but since my appt was now over I could ask for it next time... Overall just... bad. This was in April and I was going to let it go, but I just booked an appointment with another provider and they informed me that Century Smile actually charged my insurance for that dentist check up that never happened and were paid for it, despite the dentist not being in that day. That motivated me to write this all out. Thankfully I have enough cleanings per year for it to be fine, but just a disappointing experience in a world where it is already difficult to find a dentist you trust to do right by you. Overall didn't feel my time was respected, only what they were able to bill for, and obviously have decided to go elsewhere.

Love the personal care I get from all staff members, highly recommend for all dental needs. Before I came to Dr. Talaie, coming to the dentist was a painful experience that would leave me in tears and I thought that was normal. The team here showed me that's not the case and they're here to take their time and make sure I am always comfortable and helping me improve my dental care.
