Capital Dental Care is incredibly skilled, professional, and compassionate. They take the time to explain every procedure, making sure I'm comfortable and informed. The entire staff reflects this same level of care and professionalism. Every hygienist, assistant, and receptionist I’ve encountered has been friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The team works seamlessly together, creating a positive and stress-free environment. They are always ready to answer questions and provide support, making each visit a pleasant experience. Whether it's a routine cleaning, filling, or cosmetic procedure, the results have always been outstanding thanks to their collective efforts. If you're looking for a top-notch dentist who genuinely cares about your dental health and well-being, supported by a fantastic team, look no further than Capital Dental Care. They have my highest recommendation!
Dr. Nima did a fantastic job repairing my cracked tooth this week! I couldn't even feel when he injected the lidocaine, one day later and I'm still not feeling any pain! Dr. Marjan is also amazing, I've been seen by her multiple times and she was great! I highly recommend choosing them for any of your dental care needs.
Once upon a time, I loved this dental office. That is, until today. This morning, I called to make an appointment, and they told me that because I missed my appointment back in June, I have to now call every day to see if they have any openings. I’m no longer eligible to make appointments. Please note that I called them a day before my June appointment after I receiving the text reminder. I immediately called to tell them that I was teaching out of state for the summer. I said I’d call when I return to town. They said, “no problem.” I received two emails reminding me to contact them to schedule an appointment. I returned on Friday, 8/2/24. I called the dental office today, Tuesday, 8/6/24. They were so horrible to me. The attendant lied and said the office manager could not be contacted, and that they don’t know his hours or when he would be coming in the office. When my adult daughter visited the office today, they finally agreed to schedule an appointment. They tried that same language about the manager not being there and not knowing when he would come in. Then, she told them she would wait. Only then did the attendant call the office manager. Although the manager told them to allow me to get an appointment, he told them to tell her to tell me that if I cancel again, I won’t be able to visit their office again. I wondered if he had known this dentist as long as I knew her. How could he speak to me this way? Then, they intentionally gave me an appointment in late September. This was so hurtful because I thought I had a personal relationship with my dentist. We are the same age. We both had Rheumatic Fever as children during the same year, and we both attended professional school at UNC-Chapel Hill. You see, relationships matter to me, but clearly not to them. I’ve referred several people to this office. I will NEVER refer anyone else after the way I was treated today. Thankfully, my identical twin sister referred me to her dentist. They were so kind when I called and explained my situation. I have an appointment for next Wednesday. I’m so relieved to be leaving Capital Dental. I never want to feel like I did today as a result of my dental provider’s office staff’s rude, demeaning, and insensitive behavior. If they don’t value me, I don’t want to be there. I bet this policy doesn’t exist at their fancy Blue Ridge office. The office on Louisburg Road works with Medicaid patients. This is the treatment reserved to black and brown patients. I think the NC Division of Health and Human Services needs to be made aware of this policy. Tomorrow, I will contact them with my concern. I do not recommend this office to anyone who seeks to have a healthy relationship with their dental provider.
I spent $500 to get my teeth bleach and my teeth look like I spent a dollar. This has been my dentist office for the past 20 years. Stay away when you don’t have any health insurance that’s all. I gotta say if you gotta pay out-of-pocket this is not the place to go, I’m signing out like Ex Mrs O’Neal Thank you for your services
My whole experience was pleasant. I was greeted warmly by the front desk, the assistant informed me I was eligible for updated x-rays, the hygienist even got me a prescription from the doctor for an issue I was having. We've been coming here for years and have also recommended this practice to friends and family. Thank you always making the process enjoyable!
