The team is great! The hygienist (Carla) was friendly and thorough making sure I was comfortable and not in any pain. The dentist was equally personable, thorough and explained everything she was seeing and the options to take care of these issues. I am very picky about my dental provider and I will be staying with Cape Smiles!

I truly appreciate everyone at this practice; I have some pretty bad dental anxiety, and they've treated me with kindness and patience throughout every procedure I have had with them. They got me in for an emergency and gave me plenty of breaks and encouragement throughout this procedure. I came back for a cleaning and another procedure a few months later, and they were just as compassionate, gentle, and patient. I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you for taking care of me.

The person i spoke to was excellent when I made the appointment, also when I asked if they needed X-rays taken 6 months earlier. When I went to the appointment the person at the check in was efficient and helpful. The hygienist Amanda was excellent in her procedure and told me every step of the way. Dr Rodregious (sorry for the spelling) was very helpful in his explanation and plan of treatment. My next appointment was made in one week and two other subsequent appointments were made. A+

I recently lost my job and my dental insurance coverage will be ending August 30, 2024. I called Cape Smiles Dentistry to make an appointmen and they were able to get me in today for a new patient appointment. They informed me that this appointment would involve x-rays, full examination and a full mouth cleaning. After an hour and a half x-rays and examination, They informed me that I needed a deep cleaning that would cost me approximately $500 out of pocket. I informed them that I lost my job and unfortunately could not pay for this, so I would just like a general cleaning that was included in my visit and covered by insurance. They refused to do the cleaning. They stated that because I needed a deep cleaning, it would be unethical to give me a general cleaning. I informed them multiple times that I could not pay for anything other than what was covered under my insurance. I asked them if doing a general cleaning would pose any risk to me, and they stated it would not, but it would just be a surface cleaning. I stated that I was fine with a surface level cleaning because it was better than nothing. They still refused to do a cleaning. They are billing my insurance company for the full new patient visit, yet refused to provide the services that were included and covered. And because of this, I will be unable to make an appointment with another provider because it will not be covered by my insurance. What is unethical is refusing to provide any sort of treatment to a patient because they are not willing to pay out-of-pocket for what you think they need. If I went into the emergency room with a broken arm and an open wound, and my insurance only covered bandaging the open wound, as a doctor wouldn't covering the wound would make more sense than telling me you'll do nothing.

1st time here and my experience with all has been very good. I saw Dr Weiss for my chipped tooth and she will take care of putting two new crowns. Very gentle and I’m always anxious to see the dentist, but they really take good care of you and explain everything that needs to be done.

Had an appointment set for mid September for a new patient comprehension exam but then had a dental emergency when an old filling came out. Office was able to see me that day and prepped my tooth for a crown. Office staff was pleasant and informative and I look forward to continuing with the office

Dr. Rodriguez is always cheerful and friendly. Does wonderful work as well. Dental assistant Laura is wonderful as well. Just a real pleasure dealing with the both of them.
