Calm Dentistry

This office is very nice and polite. That being said, like another patient here i was told my wife and I were told we had multiple cavities. Both of us thought it was weird that our regular and previous dentist had just done fillings and other work done just three months prior and saw no such cavities. We only went to calm because they were in network for our insurance. We decided to go back to our out of network location we had for years. Suddenly no cavities found. Take that information for what you will. We will not be returning to Calm. Update: Interesting that I got two calls right after I posted this review so someone knew who posted the review proving i was a former client. The only reason I posted my new review was because it was so similar to our situation about unnecessary cavity work. It was just by coincidence we decided to go back to our normal dentist to see what the charges would be for comparison and was informed no cavities or additional work needed. I'm certain Calm is a great business. Atmosphere, staff and facilities are all top knotch for sure. Very friendly people. I'm just pointing out our personal experience and at least one other customer had the same. Simple as that.

I’ve always had a fear of going to the dentist but a friend recommended Dr. Givan so I gave Calm Dentistry a try. I am so thankful I did. Now I did have some cavities but I felt cared for and I could tell they were concerned about my well-being. Dr. Given was kind and answered all of my many questions. I will definitely be back and I’ll bring my husband along with me next time. Thanks Dr. Givan and your staff. Grace

What a wonderful dental practice. The staff members are all kind, efficient and professional. The office is so soothing and beautiful. It’s also immaculate. The dentist explains everything throughly and was very gentle. I’m so glad I found this place and will definitely recommend it to my friends.

The atmosphere here is calm and everyone was very polite. Unfortunately, my husband and I were both told we had a lot of cavities which was really surprising. The staff was helping us schedule dates to fill our cavities but on a gut feeling we decided to visit another dentist. Upon visiting a different dentist, we were both told we didn’t have cavities and that drilling would not be necessary. We were shocked and immediately decided to cancel all future appointments with Calm for ourselves and our children. More and more, we’re hearing about dentist who do this. It’s extremely worrisome. Drilling into a person’s teeth is a permanent thing. This is far from an innocent scam and it’s completely unethical.

I have a great experience every time I go to Calm. I never have to wait past my scheduled appointment time, I’m usually in and out in 30 minutes, and everyone from the front desk to the dentist is always really nice and welcoming.
