By Design Dental

I had done a lot of research on the right place for my dental work. I spent over 2000.00 on dental evaluations and I picked ByDesign Dental which did not charge me for the evaluation. I liked the office and the dentist and they have their own lab to build and fix implants. That's where I went wrong. The surgery went very well, was fast and efficient. The problems started when I received my set of temporary dentures. They did not fit in my mouth, way too large. I could not close enough to drink, eat, or speak properly. I tried in vain to use them but it was impossible and went without teeth for 6 months. I discussed the fact that I have a small mouth and the next set needed to be much smaller. I received them and they were the exact same size. They didn't fit in my mouth. It appears that the lab can only make 1 size of teeth. I went to the website again and everyone has the same size teeth. My dentist seemed only concerned about the fit against my gums and not the fact that I could not close my mouth properly, speak or eat. Also the fact they were so big my face was protruding in front and bulging on the sides. The solution was to cut the lower teeth in half so they allowed me to drink and eat. I was still protruding and bulging everywhere. Now it looks like I don't have lower teeth. After numerous adjustments the same problems remained. I was told that there was no money left to do any more adjustments, even though I was not happy. While chewing on vacation the bottom implant post broke. I went to have them fixed and the dentist asked me about fit. I told him I wasn't happy with the fit and he took the tops and thinned them out on both sides. I got in the car after the appointment and for the first time in 2 years I was able to whistle. I was so happy and it wasn't protruding as much. Then I got the bill for the adjustment. I've decided that I made a big costly mistake, and another dentist may be able to give me bottom teeth again. Update: I had a meeting with the doctor and he was willing to refund 14,000.00 that I spent on my lower teeth. But it would cost me 27,000.00 to fix my lower teeth. They would have to cut more bone from my lower jaw to allow the teeth to fit. How it could cost me more for a mistake they made during the original surgery? With all the molds and scans, you would have thought the measurements would be precise. But the worst part of this was how they jerked me around for 2 years when they knew that the teeth they built would never fit in my small mouth.

This office is fantastic! From the receptionist to the dentists, they made the process of addressing my dental issues easy and comfortable. Their work is outstanding! I was so frightened of dentists based on previous experience and this office helped me overcome all of my fears. They are so good - my husband went to them as well. I couldn't recommend this practice enough!

Trust the process! I was referred by a friend to go here. I can say, I didn't make a mistake. Dr. Moore and Dr. Mogyoros are fantastic. They both truly care about their patients health and well-being. The entire staff recognizes that we are all people and they want their patients to feel great about their smile. I was comfortable here and would highly recommend! Thank you all for making me feel great again! I love to smile again.

I recently got a filling done at this dental office. Beverly, Dr. Moore's assistant was wonderful. She did a great job helping out and ensuring I was comfortable. Dr. Moore is an excellent prosthodontist. He explained everything he was doing and made sure it was done correctly.

Ever since I can remember, I have always had problems with my teeth. You would think by now, I would be used to a trip to the dentist office, but it's the complete opposite. As I have gotten older, I get more anxious and nervous in the chair. It seems like I never get good news and it's always one problem after another. Given all of that, the staff at Design Dental are amazing! Yes, I'm still a mess when I go, but they work with me and help me feel comfortable. They take their time and make sure that I am doing okay. Dr. Moore is especially accommodating and really listened to my concerns. He is very reassuring and definitely wanted to make sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I highly recommend By Design Dental. They are all wonderful!
