I had an excellent experience at Burbank Family Dental. I needed to take care of some cavities and have two wisdom teeth extracted. The front staff is very friendly and helpful dealing with insurance and appointments. I was in pain. The front staff was able to fit me into their schedule. They care about their customers. The back staff is equally as caring and helpful. Yes, I get nervous and explained that if I raised my hand to please give me room. They were very accommodating and fixed all my issues. The parking is plentiful every time that I have gone. The waiting area is large with comfortable seat and a large fish tank that kids love. I highly recommend Burbank Family Dental.
The worst service ever. The first problem I had with this clinic is wisdom teeth. I was waiting for my appointment for a month for my first wisdom teeth to be extracted. The day before the appointment they rescheduled it for the next day and that was ok with me. When I at last came for the appointment I was waiting for an hour to be called in. And they never called me in. After an hour of wait time they came up to me and said you'd better come next time. I went to another clinic to pull out the wisdom teeth (I had pain so I didn't want to wait) , and there they served at my first appointment. But I met up with an incompetent doctor, who injured my sinus and kept telling me that everything was ok, I didn't want to deal with her anymore. I returned to Burbank Family Dental again, and wanted them just to make an X-ray and check on the problem. I just needed to know how I could deal with that further. But doctor Alex was very offended by the fact that I got my teeth pulled out with another clinic and was rude and sarcastic with me. He said they are not going to deal with this problem, and I never intended to make them do this and I told him that. I just thought that a one minute X-ray was not that big of a deal. I just needed to know if I should find another doctor to deal with that or everything was healing by itself. All in all he made an Xray and told me that I should make another one in two weeks, but not with them. Anyways, I tried to call them and make an appointment for an X-ray, but, of course, they didn't accept me. I tolerated that.I came to them to have another my wisdom tooth extracted, and everything was fine, the surgeon did his job well, and there doctor Alex appeared again who kept being very rude and sarcastic to me. He asked me about how I feel, and when I said I still have issues with the sinus he said: "Probably it is because of the weather". They also didn't share the sinus X-ray with another clinic that I went to. And I have been waiting for the approval of my crown for 4 months and they told me they cannot push it in any way.I have piercing pain in there! My husband tried to make an appointment with Burbank Family Dental, too. A Latino girl picked up and said that he' had never been there before (but he had!!!) and he had to register him as a new patient. I told her my husband's date of birth several times, before she could understand the number: "thirteen". It was very hard but at last she set in-two-weeks appointment, and you know what? When the date of my husband's appointment came and no message came we called the clinic and there was no appointment set! The only appointment that he had is for the year of 2026, which he had never made. And now they say the fastest appointment they can make is in month. I am very frustrated and offended.
This is the worst dental office I’ve ever been too! Firstly it took 4 months to get approval for my crowns and root canals! I made the mistake of not checking with denti cal and they had been approved already 2 months prior and only until I got on the phone with Burbank family Dental did they suddenly find the approvals. After spending 3 months on 4 crowns and 3 root canals I was told my insurance lapsed over on the other two teeth! So on March 21st they were supposed to send over the approval for teeth 11 and 6! I just spent over an hour with dentist cal which told me they should have received my approval request in 10 days. Not that it’d be approved that day! So I went in to the dentist on the 15th because a tooth was hurting number 11 and they once again said that and tooth 6 were sent in on March 21st!!! Now after all this I called Burbank family Dental and they claim only number 11 was sent out and it was sent out on the 15th of April!! They keep firing the check in people that work there every time it’s a new person and the manager lady has told me 3 different stories and they didn’t even send out to do tooth 6 at all. This is not to mention the 4 crowns I got took 5 months total to get. Because they claimed this or that or the crown was yellow yellow yellow and they had to redo it 3 times. Honestly this is the worst dentist office I’ve ever used. Told 3 different stories it’s been 5 weeks now and debit cal hasn’t even gotten a request!! It’s ridiculous. Then the lady on the phone the manager started yelling over me louder and louder not making any sense like as to why it wasn’t filed the 21st of march like promised? To which she said loudly you can go “f” off and will drop the claim with the insurance and hung up on me!! So unprofessional and ridiculous. This place sucks do not go here!! Rude and honestly have no idea what they’re doing!
Had a really bad experience. Scheduled a cleaning. They rescheduled once by a week - no big deal. I come to the rescheduled appointment, which was very early, & they tell me “the hygienist is out. We need to reschedule you.” I figured I’d give them one more chance. Came to my third attempt this morning. Double checked on the phone that the hygienist was there before i left. I’m in the waiting room for 30 minutes after my appointment starts. I ask “can I get an ETA here on the wait time?” They tell me it’s going to be 30 more minutes. Didn’t have the time. Really ridiculous that i have to be in the waiting room that long when I’m on time. Staff is friendly. The office is just managed extremely poorly. Seems like a gamble on whether they’re going to be there for your appointment or not. I don’t care to try again. Be careful with these guys. They might waste your time - potentially, a lot of it.
Jennifer picked up the call and put me on hold forever just to go and check out my information????? ALMOST 30 MINS. AND SHE STILL NOT BACK.THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE THERE.
