Was so ripped off by this dentist. Was told I had over a dozen cavities and had to fill them. Ended up going to another (amazing) dentist a year later who told me it was so strange that I had multiple cavities that were so tiny that were filled. Realized then that Brighton Dental just wanted my money. Also got frightened into getting a crown and they wouldn’t even work with me on a payment plan. The receptionist looked at me like I was insane for even requesting it. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this scam artist.

I just moved to the area and went and they told me i had 3 cavities. I never had a cavity before so everyone around me was sus about it. So i went to my normal dentist and there couldn’t find any cavity. There was 1 worry spot but they said it was too early to start filling it, especially at my age. They also tried to get me to pay for the appointment to get my teeth filled before i left but lucky i didn’t bring any cards with me because it was like this is covered by my insurance. But usually i pay for procedures afterwards at my normal dentist so that was defs a red flag for me.

Update: I remain so happy with this dental practice. I would recommend to everyone. From the text messages to confirm or reschedule a visit, to the super friendly customer service by phone, to the professional attention at the office. Dr Lin, Bella and others are so great and i am so grateful. Always excellent, warm reception and attention from the staff to the Dr. Very happy with this dental office, so much so that i go in 4 times a year.

I was a patient here for several years mainly due to convenience from my apartment and how challenging the dental system can be to navigate (ie every time you change dentists you need an exam, x-rays, etc). I had more cavities here as a patient than I have in my entire life. I began to notice a pattern that after every other cleaning, I would be informed by the dentist that I had at least 1-2 cavities that needed to be addressed. I would schedule the fillings and proceed with treatment. I would then be charged out of pocket costs that were always 100-200$ over what would be reimbursed by my insurance company, causing me to overpay and have to seek repayment from the office. My dental insurance mentioned I might consider reporting the billing as fraud. Also the fact that I needed to go to pick up the check from their office was a challenge, because they are never open! I would have to take time out of my work-day and schedule a time to go and pick up my reimbursement check from them. I have never had this issue happen at another office, ever. This happened every time to the point where I did not want to seek services because of the inconvenience it would cause me. The dentist himself was fine however he does not like to be challenged or questioned, which as a healthcare provider I find to be inexcusable. The care you provide to your patient's should always involve a collaborative decision making process. The two stars here are for the friendly support staff that were always kind to me at my visits. If I were you I would find another provider elsewhere. I don't expect this office to be open much longer as evident by their constantly decreasing hours.

I've been a patient of Dr Lin for about 10 years and have been through multiple fillings, crowns, and cleanings over that period of time. He and his staff have always been great to deal with, honest about treatment needed, and I've been very happy with the dental work
