Brighton Dental

If I could give negative stars I would. My wife went here for a period of time and the actual dentist services were fine. Between appointments she got a new job and therefore her insurance policy changed. The office billed the old insurance and they obviously didn’t pay (classic miscommunication). When she went in for her next appointment they told her they couldn’t service her because she had an outstanding balance. She offered to pay out of pocket on the spot and they said they couldn’t process the payment because the claim had been sent to collections. She asked about how to get in touch with the collections agency to resolve the issue so that she could get her teeth cleaned and they weren’t able to help her. We tried calling the collections agency to make the payment to no avail. This was not a significant amount of money, a couple hundred bucks is all. Fast forward a few months and we get a knock on the door and my wife is SERVED A LAWSUIT. In reading the lawsuit it’s from a company called NAR, Inc. with my wife being called out as being sued. We have no idea who NAR, Inc. is or what this is even regarding. Talk about a traumatic experience. After reading through dozens of pages of legal documents we realize this is related to the money that WE TRIED TO PAY months ago. Now we’re sitting here having to work with a lawyer to resolve this lawsuit. All over a couple hundred dollars. We would have happily paid. Would have been nice to know that there was an outstanding balance and would have been nice if they could have taken our money when we offered to pay (in the office). Never had this happen before in all of our years going to dentists and other medical providers. Understand they need to get paid but how quickly they sent us to collections is extremely frustrating. Just call us next time instead of sending us to a predatory collections agency. And the fact that the administrative front desk people were ZERO help when they refused to serve my wife and couldn’t tell her how to make payment was incredibly frustrating. Will not be going back.

I love Brighton Dental! Dr Carroll and his staff are truly an amazing group of people. I've been going to Dr Carroll for almost 10 years and he is the best dentist ! He is very knowledgeable and explains thoroughly what needs to be done. The staff have helped me get in quickly with emergency issues, yep a cracked tooth from popcorn is a real thing. They are all very friendly and professional. I'm happy I found them.

I’m super sad to be separating from Brighton dental. I have been coming here for around 10 years. Dr carol is awesome and I LOVE my dental hygienist. However the front office have become increasingly rude over the years. Most recently they have been belittling and aggressive towards me! As a new dad this is not the kinda people I want treating my kids so it’s time to look for a new location!

Great dentist! Really nice classy cozy place with a clean and relaxing environment. Nestled right in the heart of one of my favorite places, Cottonwood Heights! - Dr. Kelly Carroll is a great dentist and not to mention a really fun and kind guy to boot. Very capable dentist that has invested in high end dentistry equipment to take care of its clients in timely fashion. I have recommended and will continue to.

Dr. Smith was amazing. They fit me in for a dental emergency and Dr Smith was very efficient, and fast, but detailed. She is very talented. I’m grateful that the Brighton team could handle my emergency. They were all very professional.

My experience has been, that it doesn't matter which Dr you get, they all have done excellent work for me. They've all made me feel like I'm their only client and being so, that I am important, they have all been professional but still engaging on a personal level. The front staff is excellent, never had a cost or appt issue and their friendly. I am spoiled by their hygienist, she is so good, I'm sure the others are excellent but both her and Brighton have my business forever! Thank you all.

I cannot recommend this dentist to anyone. I was served a LAWSUIT for an outstanding payment from 6 YEARS AGO when I was STILL A MINOR and under my guardian's insurance. I was given no warning and my brother was served a similar lawsuit some time after. This company is incredibly litigious with insurance payments and I recommend looking elsewhere.

Dr Carroll is the best. He took care of me like I was his own family. Best staff in Utah, friendly, courteous and professional. Thanks so much Brighton Dental! Y’all Rock.
