I love this dental practice. Not only are they awesome because of their Saturday availability (which works well with my work schedule), but they are always so kind and helpful when I go in to see them. Norma helped me reschedule my appointment promptly when I needed to move it due to work, and was smiling and inviting as soon as I walked in for my appointment today. Venky may be the person I’ve interacted with most throughout my years of going to this practice, and when we needed to update my plan of care, he gave me a rundown of my options and made sure I had all the information I needed to make an informed decision. I would recommend Bright Smiles over and over and over again to anyone in the Cumming area whose insurance will cover their services. They are worth it in every way.

I have been a loyal patient at Bright Smiles for over two years, regularly visiting for check-ups and cleanings. Up until recently, I had no issues with the care I received. However, my recent experience with the new manager has been deeply disappointing and upsetting. Under the new management, I was subjected to an unprofessional and humiliating encounter that has left me questioning the integrity of this practice. During a routine visit, the manager insisted on performing a deep cleaning procedure, which would cost around $1000. Despite not having significant issues with deep pockets in my gums, I was told that this procedure was necessary to avoid problems with my insurance. I felt pressured and misled into agreeing to this costly treatment. On the day of the first part of the deep cleaning, I was further dismayed when asked to pay in advance for the second part of the procedure. This request was baffling and seemed unnecessary, as I had no intention of avoiding the treatment. Furthermore, the water pressure cleaning device was malfunctioning during the procedure. I'm uncertain whether the hygienist effectively performed the manual deep cleaning, especially since no anesthesia was used. What truly soured the experience was the manager’s rude and accusatory behavior. She claimed that I had been rude to the staff, which was completely untrue. I had merely asked questions about my treatment plan. Her lack of professionalism was shocking. To address this, I spoke with the office owner over video, who promised to review the camera footage and get back to me. However, despite waiting for three weeks, I have received no follow-up or resolution. Given this distressing experience and the unresponsive management, I am now seeking a new dental office. I cannot recommend Bright Smiles based on my recent interactions, as they have demonstrated a concerning lack of respect and professionalism. Additionally, it seems that many of these five-star reviews may be incentivized, with patients receiving a 10% discount in exchange for their positive feedback.

Please be cautious. I’ve been visiting this location for over two years and with each visit, I’ve had to question charges being billed to my insurance and amounts I am ultimately responsible for. With the most recent statement received, one service was falsely billed and office representative agreed to ‘write-off’ the cost. Representative further shares this location has been challenged with staffing issues and have been working for over two years trying to correct book-keeping issues, records, etc. During this same conversation, the office representative stated the reason why I have a out-of-pocket cost from a routine cleaning is because the Dr. is out-of-network. That was the very first time I had heard this location was not within my dental network!!! Needless to say, I politely cancelled my appointment and have started to see another dentist in the area (and am much happier at this different location). I share this so that other patients that continue to visit this location remain aware of the services being rendered and bills being received.

The staff at bright Smiles were so professional and knowledgeable. They provided an individualized treatment plan at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend their practice!

Bright smiles is charging me for their inaccurate insurance submission several years ago. All of a sudden they claim I owe them $227. Even with proof they submitted a claim incorrectly to my insurance. They have no statements from that timeframe just a statement number carryover. No actual statement. As a consumer I have to pay the amount because they have a disclaimer statement. Don’t do business here.
